Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely week. Yesterday was one of the sunniest days we've had this year, so I took full advantage of this and thought I would do an outfit of the day post! I've wanted to add more fashion posts on my blog recently so all this sunny weather was perfect! I also had my hair cut in the morning and for once I actually like how it turned out despite the fact it's a lot shorter! I'm planning to ombre it again before I go on holiday as a lot of the lighter colour at the ends have been chopped off and I really do miss it. It's a pretty boring cut, but what do you guys think?

Anyway, as yesterday was really hot (and I've been totally slacking on fake tan) I went for a maxi skirt and vest top combination. This coral maxi skirt is from Primark and is probably one of the nicest pieces I've bought from there! I love this style of maxi skirt where it's sheer material but has the mini skirt underneath to cover you up. As the elastic at the waist is black, I paired it with a simple black vest top which is again from Primark. For my shoes I wore my favourite pair of sandals from New Look which I found in the sale a couple years ago. I think these sandal are gorgeous and perfect for wearing in the Summer! They literally go with any outfit and add a nice bit of glam to a simple look. My bag I carried was my everyday bag which is from Dickins & Jones and to me, could easily pass as a Cath Kidston bag. The print is so pretty and there's loads of space to carry all my "essentials" around! Finally for my jewellery I wore my long rabbit and gem necklace from Miss Selfridge and my new "Love Always" bracelet from Dorothy Perkins. I love dainty jewellery and thought both of these pieces went well with the outfit.

So this is my outfit of the day, I'm actually really excited and happy that I'm getting back into doing these posts again! I think doing them in the Summer is so much easier as I tend to wear more "exciting" clothes at this time of year. If you would like to see more outfit of the day posts then please let me know!

Stila Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation Refill in Shade B £1 Poundland

I was really excited to have found Stila makeup in Poundland after reading another girl's blog about it the other day. I picked up the powder foundation in Shade B as I thought it was too much of a bargain to miss!

I also found this Sally Hansen nail polish pen in Poundland in the colour 01 Silver Chrome. I thought it would be a great product to try out! Poundland is definitely becoming one of my favourite places to shop at the moment! If you want a review on this product then just leave a comment!

Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Pro Primer £6.99 Superdrug

I've been on the hunt for a new primer as I've never actually tried any apart from The Porefessional I got free in Glamour. Boots and Superdrug were both doing a 2 for £10 on some Rimmel makeup and their primer was in the deal. So me and my mum both bought one to try out. I am planning to do a review on this soon!

Green & Gold Ring £.7.50 down to £1 Miss Selfridge

I found this ring in the Miss Selfridge sale section and thought it would be a very pretty accessory to go with lots of outfits. It's a creamy green colour on a gold, floral band.

Silver Charm White Thread Bracelet £5 down to £1 Dorothy Perkins

I love little bracelets like this which you can stack up with others or wear on its own for a dainty look. I love the silver/ diamante charm on the bracelet and think it's very pretty.

I've been loving feather earings and found these two in the Dorothy Perkins sale! I love coral for brightening up a day outfit and I think the navy ones will be cute with an evening outfit.

Gold and Pink Rose earings £2.99 down to £1 New Look

I've been trying to build up my dangly earing collection and found these gold and pink rose earings in the New Look sale. I think they will be great for lots of outfits, especially for the Summer.

Peach Scalloped Edge Shorts £17.99 down to £7 New Look

I found these peach shorts in the New Look sale and thought they were a bargain! They're a little bit big at the waist/ hips so I'm going to sew them at the sides a bit (this is where Textiles GCSE comes in handy!).

I realised I don't actually have any navy plain tops and this is what I wanted to go with these shorts. So I picked up one in primark along with a plain black cami which I can also use with these shorts.

Finally I bought two pairs of sunglasses from Primark because mine broke when I was on holiday last year and I never got round to buying some more, but now I have two new pairs!

Mini Haul | Sale Items

So many shops recently are doing some great deals in the sales and being me I can never resist a bargain! I have a wedding to go to in a week so was able to pick up a few bits for that as well as a few extra items.

New Look: £4.99 down to £2

I've wanted to buy some feather earrings for a while now and I found these subtle coral ones in New Look the other day. As I am wearing a coral dress to the wedding I thought these would be a nice accessory to go with the outfit. They are gold dangly earrings with pink, coral and orange gems in and 4 golden metal feathers with the main coral colour feather in the middle. New Look have lots of different coloured feather earrings in the sale at the moment for around £2, so if you're interested in buying some check out their store or website.

New Look: £27.99 down to £10

New Look's shoe sales are always amazing! I actually saw these wedges the day before buying them for full price and being really tempted to buy them. Luckily I didn't as I went to town the next day and found them for £10! They are black with gold bead design and have a cork heel with rope detailing. Again I will be wearing these to the wedding and I know I will be getting a lot of use out of these because they're so comfortable to wear.

 I've gone a bit ring crazy this last week, especially for gold ones. I love the flower detailing on the cross ring and makes this simple ring very pretty. I also thought the knotted ring would be a great staple ring as I do not own any like this design.

Primark: £7 down to £3

Normally I wouldn't have picked this playsuit out if I was shopping on my own, but my friend picked it out and we both tried it on. It's a really pretty light weight playsuit that is perfect for a BBQ or as a beach cover up. It's a neutral tribal print with gold sequins on the chest and thin straps. It has an elasticated waist band and can be tightened with the draw-string which I like to tie into a bow. It's quite short so great for Summer, but I'm sure it can be carried into Autumn if it is paired with some opaque black tights. I think the wedges above would also go amazingly well with this for a more dressed up Summer look.
