Hello lovelies, I hope you're all well! A couple weeks ago I was contacted by Fragrance Direct and asked whether I would like to choose some products off their site to review on my blog. Now, I'm sure many of you have heard about Fragrance Direct as it is well known by bloggers for having an amazing selection of beauty brands at cheap prices! I was very excited about trying some new products and after a good read through the site, I decided on a couple of products from the Macadamia Natural Oil range; the Nourishing Leave In Cream and Healing Oil Treatment.
Macadamia hair products contain a blend of Argan and Macadamia oils which are brilliant at nourishing dry, damaged and tangled hair. Recently my hair has felt very dry and tangled so I was hoping that these two products would help make it soft and manageable again!

Macadamia Natural Oil Nourishing Leave In Cream 300ml* [£11.50] LINK
The first product I tried was the Nourishing Leave In Cream which comes in a huge 300ml bottle with a pump. I absolutely love the packaging and design of the Leave In Cream. The green and brown floral design gives it an earthy, natural feel which made me think this product was going to be really good for my hair. The Leave In Cream is designed to de-tangle, tame and protect your hair from the sun's UV rays as well as adding softness and shine! It is also a texture cream so leaves your hair feeling full and thick as well as soft! After I washed my hair, I towel dried it and then added about half a pump of the cream to the lengths of my hair. As I have very fine hair I didn't need too much product, but the amount you use will depend on your hair's thickness and type. I found that the cream absorbed into my hair quickly and didn't leave it feeling heavy or as if there was loads of product in it, which is great for my fine hair! Once my hair was dry (I leave it to air dry naturally), I found that the Leave In Cream left my hair very curly, full of body and most importantly incredibly soft! The cream also smells amazing and it gave my hair a beautiful scent, just as if I'd had it done at the salon! After using the Leave In Cream every time I washed my hair for the last 2 weeks, I'm in love the results it has given me and now my second day curls don't feel as dry or look as frizzy as they used to be! I would highly recommend this product to anyone with dry, thin and curly hair as it will help nourish and define your locks within just 1 use.
If you fancy trying the Nourishing Leave In Cream before buying the full size, you can purchase a 60ml version for just £2.99!

Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment 30ml* [£5.99] LINK
The next macadamia product I tried was the Healing Oil Treatment which is perfect for all hair types and can be used on a daily basis. The oil comes in a 30ml glass bottle (it also has the same green and brown design) which has no pump or dispenser, you simply pour the required amount of product out on to your hand. I would have preferred that the oil came with a pump but I haven't had any trouble or made any mess by pouring the oil out. The Healing Oil Treatment claims to nourish, protect the hair from UV rays and again leaves your hair smooth, shiny and manageable. As well as this, the oil is supposed to reduce hair drying time by 40 - 50% which is probably a life-saver for ladies with very thick hair that takes ages to dry! How this works is the oil will absorb into your wet hair which in turn will push the water out of the hair, allowing it to dry quicker. For me, my hair dries very quickly any way as it's so thin, so I didn't see any improvements in my drying time. When I used the oil on wet hair I only needed 1 drop for the lengths of my hair. I found that it absorbed straight away and didn't leave it feeling greasy at all! Once my hair was dry, it was left shiny, soft and smelling amazing - it has the same gorgeous scent as the Leave In Cream! I also found it left the same results when used on dry hair but it also reduced any frizziness and left my curls defined and manageable. I've been using the Healing Oil Treatment everyday for the last 2 weeks and I have to say my hair looks so much healthier and nourished plus my tangles have definitely been reduced. If you've been looking for a new hair oil to try, I would completely recommend you trying the Macadamia one, it's left my hair looking and feeling so much better!
If you fancy trying the Healing Oil Treatment before buying the full size, you can purchase a 10ml version for just £3.75!

So overall I am really impressed with the Macadamia range and I love how the products have left my hair! Also, these 2 products can be used together on wet hair to add extra softness and shine. In the picture above I have used both the Leave In Cream and the Oil Treatment and you can see my hair has been left shiny and defined. I will definitely be trying out some more products by Macadamia, I've especially got my eye on tyring the Deep Repair Masque so fingers crossed it pops up on the Fragrance Direct website soon!

Have you tried the Macadamia Natural Oil range?

Miss Selfridge and Matalan Jewellery Haul

So over the last few weeks I have done what I can only describe as my fair share of shopping! There were some products I have been meaning to try for quite a while plus a bunch of beauty bargains I couldn't help but pick up! As I am going away on holiday in July, I've been on the hunt for some new beauty and makeup pieces I can bring with me. I've mainly focused on bright and Summery shades as these are the colours I like to wear in the warmer months!

Nail Polish
The first thing I picked up was a copy of Marie Claire as I had heard there was a free Ciate polish with every issue! The only shade I could find was "Pocket Money" which is a creamy fudge nude which I'm not 100% keen on but I will give it a go none the less! Next I found 2 Maybelline Forever Strong Pro polishes in "Porcelain Beige" and "Lilac Charm" in my local Poundland. I have wanted to try these Maybelline polishes, especially the lilac one, for a very long time so I was really happy to see them for just £1! The formula of these nail polishes is amazing and I hope to pick up some more shades soon! From Primark, I picked up another Angelica polish in the sale called " Ocean" for just £1. This is a gorgeous shimmery mermaid blue/ purple and I think it would be great for Summer! Finally from Fragrance Direct I ordered a new Essie polish in "Off the shoulder" which is a hot pink shade! I'd seen this in quite a few people's blog posts and thought it looked gorgeous! I'm currently wearing it at the moment and I must say, it's going to be one of my top 5 polishes for Summer!

Lipstick
Again from Poundland I picked up a Sleek Sheer Cover Lipstick in the shade "Satin" which is a nude pink. I have bought Sleek lipsticks from Poundland before but the shades weren't what I expected nor were they ones I would ever wear. I'm glad to finally have a wearable Sleek lipstick in my collection! Next from Wilkinson's, I finally got round to buying another Rimmel lipstick in "Coral in gold" which is a pretty golden coral shade. If you read my Rimmel Lipstick Collection post you may remember that I said I had lost mine and that is was one of my favourite lipsticks! Now it's back in my collection and I can't wait to wear it again! My final lipsticks are the 2 of the new Revlon Lip Butters shades in "Juicy Papaya" (a soft coral) and "Wild Watermelon" (a red toned pink) which I picked up in Boots. I was planning on getting "Pink lemonade" (a light pink) instead of "Wild Watermelon" but I was so disappointed at how sheer it was that I decided not to buy it. The 2 shades I bought though are both absolutely gorgeous and look lovely on the lips!

Blusher & Eye Shadow
After reading so many hauls and reviews, I've finally got round to buying my first Dainty Doll blushers from fragrance Direct! I decided to go for "You are my sunshine" which is a golden peach powder blusher and "Paper roses" which is a delicate pink cream blusher. I'm so happy with the shades I got and can't wait to try them out! The next blusher I bought was a re-purchase of Natural Collection's "Pink cloud" from Boots. This is a pretty pink shade that I think will work on any skin tone! Natural Collection blushers are great quality for just £1.99 and they do a really nice selection of shades to choose from. The only eye shadows I picked up was a Seventeen Eye Shadow Trio in "Metallic Toffee" again from Boots. I had a coupon through the post which meant I could pink this trio up for just £1, which was an amazing bargain considering the RRP is £5.49! I thought this would be perfect for creating a simple neutral eye look as you get a lid, crease and highlight shade all in one!

Jewellery
I've recently found this gorgeous pink rose and gold spike bracelet from Miss Selfridge in the half price jewellery sale and it was just too pretty to leave behind! I thought it would be a simple piece that I could wear with lots of different outfits and layer up with different gold bracelets. The last piece is this dainty rose gold cross ring from Matalan. I don't often shop in Matalan, but I'd heard their jewellery selection is meant to be designed by the same people from Topshop so I thought I would take a look around. This ring is really simple and plain but because it's rose gold, it just looks lovely on! I will definitely be shopping in Matalan again soon!

And that's my huge collection beauty haul! I love everything I've bought and can't wait to start creating new looks with all the makeup. If there are any products you would like to see a review on, then please leave me a comment below! Also, if you have recently written a haul post, please leave the link below as I love reading them and putting new things on my wish list!

All 5 Nail Polishes Swatches With 2 Coats
Hello, I'm back with another of my hauls!
A week ago, I made my very first order with Fragrance Direct as I have heard you can grab some really good beauty bargains. The delivery is cheap, but not the quickest (I chose 2nd class for just £1.99) however I am a patient person, so I wasn't too fussed. This is definitely a great site to shop on and I will be doing so very soon, especially for Christmas presents!

The first thing I put in my 'basket' was the Vera Wang Princess perfume. I have been dying to try this for so long but could never justify spending £60 or so on a perfume. When I saw it on Fragrance Direct for £38.99 for the 100ml, 6ml roller ball and a free sample of the YSL Manifesto perfume, I jumped at the chance! It's a lovely girly, fruity and floral scent which would have been perfect for Summer. There is also another 100ml Vera Wang Princess perfume on this site which retails at £50.99 which doesn't include the roller ball or the free sample! So make sure you click on this LINK like I did to save and get more for your money!
Next I clicked on The Nail Doctor Rescue Me 10 Day Strengthening System. I have never heard of this brand before or seen any reviews on it, but it was only £1.95 so thought I'd pick it up. I have very weak nails and always split and peel, so if this works out, I'll be very happy! This is a 2 step system that includes a base and top coat which have vitamins and proteins to help strengthen your nails. I will do a review on this product once I have tried it out, so there will be more details in that post.
The final thing from Fragrance Direct was the Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Nail Polish in 332 Baby Pink for just 99p. As you can see from the pictures, I wouldn't class this as a baby pink, just a normal to Barbie kind of pink. However, I did read a review of this before I bought it and actually like the colour despite the name. It applies really well, but probably needs 3 coats to be fully opaque.

At the weekend, I popped into my local TK Maxx to see if I could find any bargains. I ended up buying a box of 4 Essie Nail Polishes for £9.99 in the colours: Orange, It's Obvious (an orange - obviously), Tour De Fiance (a hot pink with blue/ purple shimmer), To Buy Or Not To Buy (a lilac with blue shimmer) and Navigate Her (a pale green). I love all of the colours, even the green which I wasn't so keen on. They apply really well and I can see why people have so many of them! I also saw that all these polishes are on Fragrance Direct as well for £1.99 each, but I don't feel ripped off as buying all 4 including the P&P, it comes to £9.95.

And finally, what is a haul without something from Poundland? I found this Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Balm in Pink Crystal which is a hot pink colour with bits of shimmer in. I'm slightly disappointed with this as the colour pay off is non-existent and I find it's quite sticky on the lips. However, I like the watermelon smell and the fact it has SPF 15. It also comes with a little brush, which is slightly pointless as I didn't realise it was there until I was editing these photos haha!

Hoped you enjoyed this haul! Please recommend any more Essie nail polish colours as I really want to get some more!

Amie ♥
