Spring Hair Care

Spring Hair Care Routine Shampoo Conditioner Mask Super Drug Toni And Guy Review Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

I love swapping up my hair care quite a lot and I'm always looking to try out new products. As my hair is pretty dry, fine and naturally curly I usually go for products that really hydrate it and make it feel soft and healthy again. Typically in the Spring, people tend to go for hair care that's lightweight and helps control oils to leave your hair feeling fresh, but as my hair is quite dry all year long I still stick to my super hydrating products. So with some new additions to my hair care routine I thought I would share with you what new products I have been loving recently!

Spring Hair Care Routine Shampoo Conditioner Mask Super Drug Coconut Sweet Almond Toni And Guy Review Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Superdrug Coconut & Sweet Almond Shampoo and Conditioner | £2.29 each | LINK
My shampoo and conditioner is one factor of my hair care routine that I like to swap up quite often. I feel that my hair gets used to them quickly so I always have a few different ones on the go that I can swap and change when needed. One range that I've been really enjoying recently is actually a Superdrug own line - the Coconut & Sweet Almond Shampoo and Conditioner designed for dry/ damaged hair. At £2.29 a pop (and sometimes just over £1 when it's on offer!) this bargain shampoo set is easy on the purse and works wonders with my hair!

I love coconut scents so this range is right up my street and with the added benefits of the coconut oil and almond extract this duo leaves my hair feeling really soft, shiny and smelling lovely! It's really gentle and doesn't feel like it's weighing your hair down, yet it still offers a lot of hydration and nourishment to your hair. I'm a big fan of Superdrug own products (I use quite a few products from their Vitamin E skincare range) and I love that they're cruelty free, suitable for vegans and amazing quality! I've almost gotten through a whole bottle of the shampoo and I'm halfway through the conditioner but I've already got my back ups of this product - a real winner with me!

Spring Hair Care Routine Shampoo Conditioner Mask Super Drug Toni And Guy Reconstruction Mask Leave In Conditioner Review Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Toni & Guy Reconstruction Mask | £6.39 | LINK
As my hair is really dry, I've recently starting using the Toni & Guy Reconstruction Mask as a deep conditioner in the shower. Even though it's designed as a mask and should probably be used once a week, I like to use this along side the Coconut & Sweet Almond Conditioner as a really deep conditioning treatment every time I wash my hair. I probably keep this on for just a minute or so but it always leaves my hair feeling so soft, sleek and helps tame frizziness - the bane of curly hair!

I've become a big fan of Toni & Guy products over the past few months and this had definitely been a stand out product for me. I feel like it's made the lengths of my hair much stronger and I can tell my hair has grown a lot since using it! This also has a really nice scent that lingers on your hair long after you've washed it out. Definitely give this a try if you're after a new hair mask or deep conditioning treatment!

Toni & Guy Leave In Conditioner | £5.19 | LINK
I think I may have mentioned this product on my blog before, but never gone into much depth about it. This is another conditioning treatment from Toni & Guy but one that you apply to wet hair and just leave in. I suffer with pesky baby hairs that never seem to go away so I like to use this product to banish any remaining frizziness and help smooth out those little hairs. Even though I use so many conditioning products on my hair, I always notice a difference if I don't apply this one in particular. It just adds that extra softness and sleekness that my hair really craves. This little tube has lasted me a very long time as well so I think it's great value for money and one that I'll keep on purchasing!

So these are a few hair care products that I've been really enjoying recently. I would love to hear what your favourite products are for perfect Spring time hair - like I said, I'm always trying new ones out! I hope you enjoyed today's post and that you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend!

I love the summer time, it's filled with fun memories with friends, trips to the beach, holidays and just generally having lots of fun! But along side this, warmer weather also means humidity and for people like me with fine, curly hair this just equals massive problems! After trialing so many shampoos and conditioners, nothing could seem to tame my unruly locks and keep fly-aways at bay. After reading some reviews online, I decided that it was worth a shot to try out some products from the much loved brand Aussie. These are by no means new additions to their line but I just wanted to find a hair care system that would pack a tonne of moisture back into my hair! I opted to try out their Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner plus, for an added boost of hydration, their 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner.

The Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner both contain macadamia nut oil which is a well known ingredient that packs lots of moisture back into dry and damaged hair. For me this helps to smooth down my frizzy hair and make my curls a lot more defined than normal. I've also noticed that my hair is a lot shinier after using the Miracle Moist products which makes my hair look so much healthier than it used to! As well as leaving my hair looking and feeling great, Aussie shampoos and conditioners also leave your hair smelling gorgeous and with the Miracle Moist line that's no exception! I find that these two products leave my hair smelling fresh and really clean and I love that the scent is still noticeable once my hair is dry. I absolutely love using these 2 products and I think that they would suit anyone with dry or damaged hair as they're so nourishing and moisturising!

As I really want to smooth my hair down and make it as sleek as possible, I also use a small amount of the 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner over the top of the Miracle Moist Conditioner. This deep conditioner is infused with Australian mint balm which helps smooth down rough cuticles (this is what would cause your frizzy, dry hair) and repair split ends. As I use heat on my hair quite a lot, this deep conditioner is a welcomed treat on my hair as it leaves it feeling so soft and nourished! I also love the sweet fresh scent of the mint balm of this conditioner and it ties in well with the smell of the Miracle Moist products! After leaving this deep conditioner on my hair for 1 to 2 minutes, my hair always feel absolutely amazing and as if it's been brought back to life! If you're looking for a deep conditioner/ mask to add to your hair care routine, I highly recommend you trying out this one!

After using these Aussie products for a good 2 months now, I can definitely notice that my hair is so much healthier and feels like it's in a much better condition. These 3 little wonders will be a staple in my summer time hair care routine as they've finally resolved my annoying hair problems. Thank you Aussie!

Hello everyone! So in just over a week's time, I will be jetting off to sunny Mallorca for a week with my boyfriend. Since planning the holiday a few months ago, I have done quite a bit of shopping  and collecting up some products to use whilst I'm away. This has actually given my the opportunity to pick up some products that I've wanted to try out for quite a while now and I'm very excited to test them out! I thought this would be a (kind of) useful post for those of you who will be going on holiday soon and wanted to know what sort of products you could take with you!

| Hair Care |
I've wanted to try the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray for a very long time and thought this holiday would be a great way to try it out. I love curly, beachy hair on holiday and I've heard that this is a great product for doing that! For my hairspray, I opted to pick up a cheap can of Boots Extra Firm Hold Hairspray just to add more texture and volume to my hair at night. I mainly use hairspray at my roots to give a bit of lift, so I'm sure this will work just fine! Next up, I recently picked up this box of KMS California Sol Perfection After Sun Rescue tubes that are meant to reverse the damaging effects of the sun, sea and pool water. I thought these would be perfect for holiday to keep my hair healthy and I'm excited to see how well these work!

I picked up the Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner as they are meant to be great for dry and damaged hair. When I'm in the sun, my hair is prone to going dry and frizzy and I thought these products would be great at dealing with this problem. They also contain Macadamia oil which is amazing at nourishing and repairing damaged hair! Next up you may have seen in this haul that I picked up the Batiste Dry Shampoo Wild Party Trio. Out of the 3 different scent, these are the 2 I've decided to take with me: Savanna and Wild. They will be great at refreshing my hair between washes as well as giving my hair some extra volume and texture!

| Body Care |
First up for my body care products is my NSpa Jojoba & White Jasmine Body Polish*. I really like this body polish as it leaves my skin very soft and it removes any drier patches of skin I may have. This will be great for keeping my skin looking glowy and even as well as leaving my skin extra soft. For my body wash, I have my mini Soap & Glory Clean On Me shower gel. I love this shower gel and it leaves my skin soft and clean, plus the scent is just lovely! Next I decided to take my mini Soap & Glory Righteous Butter to use as my body lotion. Keeping your skin moisturised is really important if you're spending a lot of time in the sun and this body butter leaves my skin soft and smelling great! I think it works really well with the Clean On Me shower gel too.

Now, I'm really not going to risk taking a perfume on holiday with me. I'd be too afraid it would smash in my suitcase plus a bottle of perfume is pretty heavy! I decided to pick up my favourite Impulse scent to use whilst I'm away instead. This is Into Glamour which is a really nice vanilla scent which I find lasts well on the skin. Next up is Dove's Maximum Protection Deodorant in the Pomegranate & Lemon scent. I know this a pretty boring product but I wanted to bring a stronger deodorant with me as (fingers crossed) it's going to be very hot on holiday! I really like the scent as it's fresh and clean plus Dove products never seem to dry out my skin! The final body care product is my little bottle of Skinetica* - I love this stuff as it leaves my skin so clean and clear! I recently reviewed Skinetica, so you can read more about it HERE.

| Sun Lotion |
Last but by no means least are my sun lotions and after sun. I chose to go with Nivea Moisturising Sun Spray in SPF 30 and also the matching after sun. Sun lotion is pretty much the most important product to take with you on holiday and it's better to get a higher SPF to protect your skin from sun burn and premature ageing. I bought my Nivea sun lotions from Home Bargains and they only cost me around £3-£4 each. Sun lotion prices are ridiculous in most places like Boots and Superdrug, so I would definitely recommend looking in your nearest Home Bargains - it's the cheapest place I've seen them!

So these are a selection of products that I'm taking away with me on holiday. If you enjoyed this post and would like some similar ones to this such as what makeup, clothes, swim wear etc I'm taking with me, then do leave a comment below!
