Morning everyone! I hope you're all well after the Google incident that was all over Twitter yesterday haha! I for one really hope they don't get rid of GFC as I find it such an easy way to follow new blogs and keep in touch with them. Many bloggers are now resorting to following blogs over on Bloglovin' as a "just in case", so if you want to do the same for mine, click THIS LINK HERE. Thank you!

So today, I have a couple of makeup items I want to review for you! They are from the brand Makebelieve and before now, I had never heard or tried them! The Makebelieve brand have the "passion to develop self-tanning and makeup products that compliment a diversity of skin types" and want their products to make you feel good about yourself! I have two products from the "Enhance" makeup selection, but do the products live up to the promise?

The first product I have is the Makebelieve Enhance Glow Tinted Moisturiser which comes in 1 shade for all skin colours. It is a hydrating and lightly tinted moisturiser that is meant to give a glow to the face. I'm always worried about face products that come in 1 shade because I'm quite pale, chances are it won't suit my skin tone! For me, this tinted moisturiser was a little bit too dark, even when blended out. I think I will have to try this out in the Summer when I should have a more of a tan and it will hopefully suit me better! To give your face the glow, there is some fine, gold shimmer in the moisturiser which really catch the light. It is a little bit noticeable, so if you're someone who doesn't like shimmery makeup, you probably won't like this! Again, this is a feature in a product that I think will be best suited for Summer as I don't think it fits in with the English weather right now! The coverage of this product is very light and almost sheer, so I would recommend this if you're comfortable with your skin and want that tanned glow to your face! It lasted on my skin for around 4-6 hours but I find it difficult to see when a tinted moisturiser has worn off as they're sheer to begin with anyway! One problem I have with this product is that it doesn't have an SPF in it. I think if you're designing a product that's perfect for Summer, you need to have sun protection in it!

The next makeup item is the Makebeliebe Enhance Shimmer Lipgloss. Again this comes in 1 shade which is a light peachy pink and I think it will suit any skin tone! I think this is my favourite product out of the two. It looks so pretty in the tube and once applied, is an almost sheer shimmer lipgloss so it looks perfect on its own or layered over any coloured lipstick. This lipgloss isn't sticky at all and has a faint smell of what I think is grapefruit! On the lips this gloss will probably last around 1 hour but as it has the plastic applicator on the tube, it's super easy just to re-apply throughout the day! It's a really lovely lip product and the kind of one any girl should have in her makeup collection!

Overall, I think Makebelieve's makeup is really good and lives up to what they want in terms of the lipgloss, but I think it's hard to have a "one shade fits all" face product. I will definitely give this another go in the Summer and let you know what I think then!

December Favourite's

December is one of my favourite months of the year. I love all the Christmas and New Year celebrations, spending time with family and justifying chocolate as breakfast. I can't believe how quick the last year has gone and now going into 2013, I want to show you what products I was loving in the final month of 2012.

Topshop Lip lipstick in Ohh La La - I'm slowly becoming a huge fan of Topshop's lipsticks and decided I wanted to add to my mini collection. "Ohh La La" is a pretty coral blush colour. I love these sort of colours and wore this paired with the lip gloss on Christmas (see the look HERE). The pigmentation of these lipsticks is great and the apply really well. You can see a full review of the Topshop lipsticks HERE.

Barry M Nail Paint in Rose Quartz Glitter - this is one of the prettiest nail polishes I have ever seen! It has small and large pieces of silver and pink glitter and looks beautiful as a top coat over a nude pink nail polish, especially Nails Inc's Elizabeth Street.

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Lotion - I got this in the Soap & Glory 'The Best Of All' gift set (which itself is well worth picking up if you see one) for Christmas and I have used this every evening before bed. The smell is lovely, with: almond, cocoa, yogurt, oats and honey, it's literally my favourite scent at the moment. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and the scent lingers on the skin for a good amount of time. I also like how it has a pump applicator so you don't end up wasting lots of product.

♥ Real Techniques Buffing Brush - I received the Real Techniques Core Collection brush set for Christmas which I was really excited about. The brushes are soft and are great for applying makeup. The one that stood out for my was the Buffing Brush and I think it's great to apply liquid foundation. It leaves my makeup smooth, streak free and almost gives my skin an 'air-brushed' affect. I'm so glad I finally got my hands on this brush set!

Barry M Lip Gloss in Coral 11 - I can't get enough of Barry M's lip glosses. I featured one in my last favourites post and now I have a new one I've fallen in love with! This gloss is a coral colour with no shimmer and I think it goes perfectly with the Oh La La lipstick. The smell is, as always, amazing as it smells like the fruit salad sweets!

Magazine Freebies | Cosmopolitan (UK)

Cosmopolitan UK Issue November 2012 £3.50

I feel like I haven't done a Magazine Freebie post in ages! However, there are quite a few out at the moment and I will try to collect them all!
In this month's issue of Cosmopolitan, there is a free Missguided Lipsplash lip gloss available in 3 different colours: a peach (Peace), a light pink and a hot purple/ pink (I can't find the names of the other lipglosses anywhere! How annoying). You also get a free mini tube of Oral B 3D White, but I haven't photographed it. Cosmo had an issue a couple months a go with a free Missguided nail varnish which I really liked, so was quite excited to try this.

I chose Peace because I'm not the biggest fan of pink lipgloss as I think it looks weird on my lips. I usually go for more orange toned lip products, so thought this lip gloss would be great for everyday use. As you can see from the swatch, it's quite a neutral lip gloss, so will also add a nice 'your lips but better' shine to your lips.
To be honest, there's nothing amazingly special about this lips gloss and I definitely wouldn't spend £5 on it.  It's just the average lip gloss that every girl has in their collection which can be thrown in your handbag for touch ups during the day. It's a little bit sticky and the smell isn't that great, the usual cheap plastic lip gloss smell. But I do like how it looks on the lips and gives them a nice shine.
I won't be picking up the other 2 lip glosses, but if anyone else has made a post about them, I'd love to see it! Also, if you have spotted any other magazine freebies, feel free to let me and others know in the comments below!

Review | Collection 2000 Complete Bronzing Kit

The other day I came across the Collection 2000 Complete Bronzing Kit in Poundland and thought it looked pretty good to try for £1. I don't own many bronzers, and I thought this would be a nice product to try out as it contained 5 pieces of makeup to create a bronzed look. These are: 2 golden brown eye shadows (one light and one darker), a bronze cheek/ lip/ eye cream, a glitery orange lip gloss and a bronzer.

The packaging of this product is really neat and compact. It's not very strong and I don't think it can take a lot of dropping damage. I like the fact the product has 2 layers (you flip up the layer with the eye shadows etc to reveal the bronzer) with decent sized products in. It also includes a mirror which is inside the lid. This makes it a great product to take travelling as you can create a bronzed look from this palette alone. This palette doesn't come with any brushes though, but for the eye makeup and lip gloss, you can just use your finger.

The quality of the actual makeup is okay. I wouldn't spend the RRP of £5.98 on it, but it was a bargain for £1! The darker eye shadow and the bronze cream are nicely pigmented, however the lighter eye shadow and the lip gloss aren't that pigmented, just a bit shimmery. The bronzer is okay, and for lighter skin tones, warms up the face well. It also contains a bit of gold shimmer, so makes the face appear brighter in the light. However the powder products (eye shadows and bronzer) are a bit powdery and do not apply smoothly or blend together easily. I also think you need to wear a primer, or use the cream product as a base, for the eye shadows.

Overall I think this palette would be nice to take on holiday or use during the Summer so that you can create a subtle, daytime, bronzed look to compliment your tan. If the quality and pigmentation of the makeup was a bit better, then this product would be amazing. But for now, it's just an okay product that I will probably get some use out of, but not a lot.

Hope this review was helpful! Have you used the Collection 2000 Complete Bronzing Kit before?
