Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Foundation Base Review Close Up Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge | £5.99 | LINK

Hey beauties! Sorry for the lack of posts last week, I was super busy and couldn't find a spare minute to sit down and write! My boyfriend turned 22 last week (and yes, we have sung said Taylor Swift song many a time) so I was either prepping presents or having a lovely time celebrating with friends and family for his birthday. But today I'm back with a new beauty post about a product I have read lots of reviews on and couldn't wait to try myself!

A few weeks ago I picked up the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge which you may have seen in this haul post. Being an avid fan of brushes, I'd never really tried using a sponge to apply my foundation and was really interested to see what sort of effect it created. I'm someone who loves a dewy, natural finish with my makeup and this little sponge is said to deliver that glowy look, so I was excited to give it a try!

So the idea behind this product is that it's meant to create a flawless yet natural look to the skin, even with heavy duty foundations. I think this is nice for the Summer time when you still want some coverage but at the same time want to allow your skin to breathe and look natural. I've found this sponge does decrease the coverage of my foundations quite a lot, resulting in ones like Rimmel Match Perfection and Revlon Colourstay looking more like a tinted moisturiser/ light weight foundations. It does however apply the product evenly and smoothly so you do get that natural no makeup look which is perfect for Summer.

This little egg shaped sponge feels really dense and is soft and squishy so feels really nice against the skin. The smell of it is a little odd, but after you wash it a couple of times it does start to fade. The different sides to this sponge also have their own functions, such as the pointed side is to get into smaller areas like your nose and under the eyes. I like to mainly use this sort of area of the sponge as I find it gives a nice finish - I don't really tend to use the flat side too much as it can feel like your wiping the product on to your skin as apposed to buffing it in.

With sponges it's also said to be best if you dampen them down before hand (totally up to you though as it can be used dry). At first I was using a bit of water but I found I wasn't loving the results with this. So I went out and picked up The Body Shop's Vitamin E Face Mist to dampen the sponge before use. I've really enjoyed this product as it's so nourishing for the skin but also helps my foundation blend out flawlessly with the sponge - definitely a great little duo!

I've really been enjoying this Miracle Complexion sponge and has now become a staple part of my foundation routine. Of course this is meant to be a dupe of the Beauty Blender, but for just under £6 this product is purse-friendly and does the job really well! A definite necessity for any makeup obsessive!

Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer

Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer Review Belle Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog
Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer | £10.99 | LINK

I feel like using a face primer definitely helps make or break your entire makeup look. With just a small amount, these wonder products can help smooth out pores, wrinkles and even help mattify or brighten your complexion - and of course not to mention help your base products last much longer! For years now I've been a fan of both Benefit's Porefessional and Soap & Glory's Feel Good Factor. Whilst these both work really well for my skin, I wanted to change things up a bit for Spring and find something that will give me a boost of radiance and give me that sought after glow.

On a recent trip to Superdrug I spotted this little bottle at the Bourjois stand. This is the Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer that is said to help give your skin a lovely dewy glow whilst also keeping your makeup stay put all day. There is also a mattifying version of this primer which would be great for oilier skins, but as I have drier skin I'll always go for something that will brighten and hydrate my skin!

Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer Packagin Review Belle Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog
Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer Pump Review Belle Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

The Happy Light Primer comes in a sleek glass bottle with a pump and a cap. At £10.99 I would expect lovely packaging like this and it definitely is a pretty product to have sitting on your dressing table. I also love the fact its pink, so it was an instant winner for me!

I picked up the Happy Light Luminous version of this primer so this product offers to illuminate your complexion, hydrate the skin and provide a smooth base for your makeup. The product itself is quite light weight and slightly runnier than I expected. As this is a serum primer and the fact it offers to hydrate your skin, it has more of a moisturiser consistency rather than a thicker primer like Benefit's Porefessional. It does blend into the skin really nicely and leaves it feeling soft and supple.

I find that once I've blended this primer into my skin, there isn't a massive difference in how radiant my skin is. I was expecting this product to give me a really lovely glow, but as there's no shimmer in the primer, so the effect it leaves is just a fairly dewy moisturised look. On its own this would look lovely and does give you an illuminated complexion, but once I apply my foundation the affect is kind of lost. The best way I've found for this primer to give you glowy skin is if you actually mix a small amount into your foundation when you apply it. It helps lift my satin finish foundations into more of a dewy/ glowy finish, which is great when you fancy a change!

I wouldn't say it makes any massive difference with minimising pores or filling in fine lines so I wouldn't recommend this if that's what you're looking for. I would say this is a product for someone who wants a nice moisturising base that can offer hydration, smooth skin and a bit of radiance.

Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer Swatch Review Belle Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog
Applied directly from the bottle | Fully blended into the skin

As this primer does smooth out my skin and make it feel softer, it allows my makeup to apply nicer and I can definitely see that it helps keep it in place for most of the day. I don't feel like this is a miracle product but it is one that's nice and lightweight for the Spring and Summer to help boost your skin's appearance. I do wish it had a bit more "grip" to it so that it could help keep my makeup looking amazing all day (like the Porefessional does) as the wear time isn't the best. I will continue to use this in my makeup routine as I have been enjoying it recently, but I don't think this is something I'd repurchase!

I hope you enjoyed today's post! I will speak to you again during the week!

Spring Beauty Wishlist

Spring Beauty Wish List Stila Bare Minerals Nars Freedom Sleek Revlon Maybelline Real Techniques 2016 Belle Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog
All images sourced from their respective websites

Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely start to your Easter weekend! I can't believe how warm it is as well today, Summer is definitely on its way and I'm not complaining! Today I thought I would share with you a few products that I have been lusting after for quite a while. Since getting back into blogging I've felt like I need to try everything and have got my love for makeup back! Some of these products have probably been out for quite some time but I've been after some new products to add to my collection as I've really wanted to start expanding on the products I use.

1. Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Soul | £30.00 | LINK
Where would a wishlist be without some king of neutral eyeshadow palette? This lovely Stila palette contains 12 beautiful natural eyeshadows that would be perfect for everyday wear. I already own the Stila In The Light palette which has some similar shades but I think this palette would be a lovely addition to my collection. Plus Stila eye shadows are amazing quality so I will definitely be investing in this some time soon.

2. BareMinerals Bare Skin Kit | £29.00 | LINK
You may have seen in my recent Everyday Makeup Bag post that I've been trying out a sample of the BareMinerals Bare Skin foundation for the past week or so. So far I have really enjoyed using it on a day to day basis. It's very different to any other foundation I've tried before as it's so light in consistency yet still offers good coverage. I'm thinking of trying out the Bare Skin kit that contains a 15ml bottle of the foundation, the Perfecting Face Brush and a small sample of the Perfecting Veil powder. I'm hoping this kit will help me get a better idea as to whether I like this foundation plus it's a great way to try out the powder as well!

3. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation | £31.00 | LINK
I've been on a real foundation hunt recently (hence why I've been trying the Bare Skin foundation) and another pricey addition that's on my list is the Nars Sheer Glow. This product is a real cult classic among many bloggers and I would love to give this a try and see whether it lives up to the hype! I'm really into my dewy foundations with medium coverage, so I'm thinking this will be up my street!

4. Freedom Audacious 3 Eyeshadow Palette | £4.00 | LINK
A cheaper alternative to the Stila palette mentioned before is this one from Freedom. I haven't tried any Freedom makeup products before but whilst having a read through some blogs this palette really caught my eye! Again it has a lovely range of neutral shades including shimmers and mattes. For £4 I may just pick this up on my next trip to Superdrug as it's super cheap and looks beautiful!

5. Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette | £10.00 | LINK
As we roll into the Summer time, I'm a big fan of creating radiant and glowy makeup looks so I've been on the hunt to try some new highlighters. I've looked at the Hourglass highlighters and, as pretty as they are, they're a bit out of my budget. Whilst I was having a look around I came across the Solstice Highlighter palette from Sleek. I'm not sure whether this is new but I've never spotted it in any of my local Superdrugs. It looks stunning with a real mix of highlighter shades and tones.

6. Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal/ Dry Skin | £12.99 | LINK
Another classic foundation on my list is the Revlon Colorstay Foundation. This is meant to have a much higher coverage than foundations I'm used to however there are days when my skin is not at its best and I do need a bit more coverage. I like how this is formulated to different skin types and that the dry skin version has more of a satin finish which is what I prefer.

7. Real Techniques Bold Metals Spring Essentials Set | £30.00 | LINK
Real Techniques brushes are one of my holy grail makeup products. Pretty much every face brush I use for my makeup is Real techniques as they're so affordable and great quality. When the Bold Metals collection came out I think every blogger, including myself, were in awe as to how pretty they were - rose gold brushes? Who could resist! But along with that there was a much higher price tag that I couldn't really justify. The other day I spotted on Look Fantastic that this set of 2 face brushes and 1 eye brush was just £30 which I thought wasn't too bad. I will definitely be ordering these beautiful brushes so I can finally try out the Bold Metals collection!

8. Maybelline Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayon | LINK
I'm a massive fan of the Maybelline Color Tattoos and when I heard they were bringing out a new range, I was very excited! The selection of shades are beautiful and I think these will be great for Summer to create quick and simple eye looks. Correct me if I'm wrong in saying this, but I don't believe these are available just yet in the UK. I've heard their release date is Spring time so I'm hoping it will be pretty soon!

So these are a few products I've had my eye on recently. Please let me know if you've tried any of these as I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on them! I hope that you all have a lovely Easter and that you eat plenty of chocolate eggs! I'm going to be celebrating by having a huge roast dinner with all my family on Sunday, so I'm really excited for that!
Let me know what you're all getting up to this weekend in the comments below.

What's In My Everday Makeup Bag

Whats In My Everyday Spring Summer 2016 Makeup Bag Soap And Glory Benefit Bare Minerals Bourjois Makeup Revolution Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Even though I like swapping up my makeup on a regular basis, I'll be honest and say that on a day to day basis I do tend to stick to the same products. Over the past couple weeks I've been keeping all my everyday makeup products in a small makeup bag on my dressing table purely so it's easier to get ready in the mornings and I know everything's in one place. In this time I've been using my favourite products plus a few new products that I have been testing out, so I thought I would show you all what makeup I've been wearing recently.

Whats In My Everyday Spring Summer 2016 Makeup Bag Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

I've recently been testing out the Bareminerals Bare Skin foundation after popping into Boots and getting a small sample. This is a very light weight foundation that has buildable coverage yet offers a skin like finish that is natural and healthy looking. I'm still unsure whether I like this foundation yet as I do like the natural finish however as it's lightweight, the wear time isn't amazing. I'm hoping it will be a nice product for the Summer and I'm thinking of trying the Bare Skin kit that includes this foundation, the brush designed for this product plus the Bare Skin Perfecting Veil powder. Let me know if you've tried this foundation as I would love to hear your thoughts on it!

I've also been testing out the Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer as I love products that help give my skin a healthy glow during the Spring and Summer months. So far I am liking this product because of it's lovely formula and the fact it smells amazing! I will definitely review this for you within the next few weeks so do keep an eye out for that!

Another product that's impressed me recently is the little Seventeen Eye Shadow Trio in Barely There which contains some lovely everyday shimmery shades. I've had this in my collection for a while but it's only been within the past few weeks that I keep reaching for it as the colours all work so well together. As always I've also been sticking to a few favourites such as the Collection concealer, Roller Lash mascara and the Porefessional. I feel like these will always be staple products in my everyday makeup routine as they work so well for me.

Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit

Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit Medium Dark Review Belle Amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog
Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit in Medium Dark | £2.50 | LINK

Eek - it's been a while guys! I can't believe it was just over 5 months ago that I published my last blog post and since then we've had Christmas, the New Year and now we're approaching Easter. So I must say sorry for my long absence from my blog (yet again) but also a big hello and a massive thank you to anyone that's still around!

During my long break from my blog I haven't actually been trying many new products. That's probably a reason why I haven't had much motivation to blog as I feel like I'm just talking about the same old stuff over and over again. But something hit me the other day and I just felt like going on a little makeup shopping spree and seeing what products were on the high street for me to try out. With the added bonus of a little time off work, I just felt like taking some photographs and sharing my thoughts on some products with you guys - so here I am!

Despite being a huge lover of high street makeup, I've never actually got around to trying anything from the much loved brand Makeup Revolution - I know, I know, it's crazy! However I was having a little wander round Superdrug when their Focus & Fix Eyebrow Kit caught my eye. As I was running out of my much loved Archery pencil from Soap & Glory I thought I'd give it a try as the £2.50 price tag made it sound too good to leave behind. I picked up the shade Medium Dark as I do have dark brunette hair, but within this palette you do get 3 different shades to choose from, so it would definitely suit a range of skin and hair colours.

In this little eyebrow palette there are 3 good size powders to either choose from or mix together to create the perfect brow colour. The top left shade is the lightest of the bunch and I would say should suit a lighter brunette maybe verging on darker blondes. The top right shade is the one I've been using and is a mid-tone brown that I find suits my brows perfectly. The bottom left shade is the darkest and would be great for those with very dark hair. I've really enjoyed using these powders as the pigmentation is strong but not overpowering enough to give you bold brows in one sweep. It's very buildable and can easily give you a natural look with a small amount or can be built up to create a stronger looking brow.

The Focus & Fix kit also comes with a clear wax that is used to set and smooth out your brows after the powder has been applied, or used on its own for a more natural effect. This wax is good however doesn't last amazingly well throughout the day. I found it kept my brows in place for 2-3 hours but after that the effect had worn off and I did have a few stray hairs sticking up in places I didn't want them to!

Also with this kit you do get a mini angled brush which you can use to apply the powder or wax, plus a pair of tiny tweezers for on the go plucking. I haven't actually used this brush yet but that's because I have a full sized angled brush from Bloom Cosmetics that I always use for applying powder to my brows. However I would happily use this little one if I were to forget the brush or wanted to top up on the go. The little tweezers also aren't too bad considering the price of the whole kit. Obviously I wouldn't use them on a daily basis but they would be great for traveling when you need to sort out those few stray hairs.

Swatched in order of palette: top left, top right & bottom left | Above I have used top right powder & clear wax

I have been really impressed with this eyebrow kit and it will definitely be making its way into my everyday makeup bag! The powder product itself lasts really well during the day and I never feel the need to touch it up. The only thing I'm not overly keen on is the clear wax that comes with it, however I will just swap this with my much loved Maybelline brow gel as that's great at keeping my brows in place all day.

I do like to change my brow products up, from pencils to powders or just brow gels, but there's always something about powders that keeps me coming back to them. I like the natural finish that they give and that the product in general usually lasts me much longer than any pencil would.

Let me know if you've used this product before and how you've got on with it! If you haven't what is your favourite brow product to use? I'm always on the hunt to try out something new! Thanks for reading guys and I will hopefully talk to you all again soon!

Boots Makeup Haul

Boots-Spring-Summer-Makeup-Haul-2015-Belle-Amie-UK-Beauty-Fashion-Lifestyle-Blog

As we go into the Spring and Summer I've felt like I've needed to add some new makeup pieces to my collection as I haven't really bought any cosmetics in quite a while. With the added factor of lots of new high street beauty releases, I thought I would take advantage of Boot's latest 3 for 2 offer and try out some new pieces! I also managed to find some little gems in the Boot's clearance section, which is a very rare phenomenon I'm sure you'll all agree!

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette | £3.99 | LINK
These new little eye shadow palettes from Collection seem to have taken the beauty world by storm so I thought I would finally try one out. I decided to go for the Nude Bronze palette as it contains some gorgeous shimmery gold/ bronze shades. My mum also picked up the Nude palette which I thought looked very similar to the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. The other version is the Nude Grey which is obviously more grey toned which I didn't pick up as I personally don't find grey/ silver shades suit me as well as golden eye shadows. In these little palettes you get 6 good sized shadows that can create a variety of eye looks. There's also a doubled ended foam applicator which is nice of them to include but I much prefer to use my brushes! I'll definitely do a review of this soon as I can imagine this will be a beautiful everyday palette!

Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in "Sweet Macchiato" | £7.99 | LINK
I absolutely love the Bourjois lip crayons and when I heard that they released a few more for Spring 2015 I had to pick one up! Out of the 3 new shades I thought I would try Sweet Macchiato which is a brown/ nude toned red that is very easy to wear. It's almost like a darkened version of your own natural lip colour, so works really well for an everyday look. I wasn't too impressed with the other shades Pinking Of It and Proudly Naked, mainly because I'm not a fan of bright pink lips and the nude was far too sheer for my liking, but I would highly recommend the rest of the collection!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in "Black" | £7.99 | LINK
After falling in love with Benefit's Roller Lash mascara, I thought I would try out the new high street alternative from Maybelline called the Lash Sensational Mascara. The wand is a very similar shape to the Roller Lash and does give your lashes lots of volume and definition. I'm thinking of doing a comparison post on my blog soon so do keep and eye out for that!

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lip Lacquers in "So Hap'pink" & "Peach Club" | £8.99 each | LINK
I've seen these lip lacquers from Bourjois on lots of blog recently, but I don't think these are the newest releases. However the colours and shades in this range instantly attracted me and I thought I would try out a couple of shades for the Spring/ Summer time! The 2 I picked out are So Hap'pink which is a bright dusty pink and Peach Club which is a gorgeous peachy coral shade. These lip lacquers are super pigmented and feel really comfortable on the lips despite having a velvet/ matte finish. They also last such a long time on the lips, even if you've been eating or drinking which is amazing!

L'Oreal Top Coat Flower Boheme in "Boho Look" | £4.99
As soon as I saw this super cute top coat I had to pop it into my basket! It contains little flecks of pink strands plus white flowers that look lovely against a pale pink nail polish. This is definitely a great top coat for the Summer as it adds a real girly twist to your nail polish. I also found that this top coat helps keep my nail polish chip free for a good few days.

Essie Mini Nail Polish in "Naughty Nautical" & "Snap Happy" | 50p each | LINK
My final purchases from Boots were my clearance section finds in the form of 2 mini Essie nail polishes! These are smaller versions of the standard Essie polishes, so they had obviously come loose from a set which is why they were just 50p each! The first shade I found was Naughty Nautical which is a beautiful blue/ green colour with a subtle silver shimmer. This is actually a shade I've wanted to try for ages and I was so excited to find this in the clearance section. I also picked up a stunning blood orange shade called Snap Happy which will be perfect for this time of year!

So this is everything I've picked up from Boots recently! I'll definitely be posting some reviews of these products but do let me know in the comments which ones you'd like to see first. I'm so excited to give everything a go, especially the Collection eye shadow palette and my bargain Essie nail polishes!

Have you picked up any new beauty goodies from Boots or Superdrug recently?

Valentine's Day Makeup Look

Bold-Red-Pink-Lip-Valtentines-Day-2015-Makeup-Look-Belle-Amie-UK-Beauty-Fashion-Lifestyle-Blog

Hello everyone! With Valentine's day just round the corner I thought I would come up with a super simple makeup look for you that uses a bold lip and a neutral smoky eye. This year me and my boyfriend haven't got anything special planned, but I think it's always nice to dress up that little bit extra on Valentine's just to make your self look your best! This is definitely a look you could wear on an everyday basis and you can just switch up the lipstick to fit the occasion.

To prep my skin I used both my Soap & Glory Feel Good Factor (which is a translucent BB cream and primer in one) plus I applied a bit of Porefessional to my T-zone to make sure my makeup stays put! For my eye primer I used the Stay Don't Stray eye shadow and concealer primer. This is a great eye primer as it's slightly tinted and will help brighten up your eyes.

For my base makeup, I've gone for my staple everyday foundation and concealer duo! The Rimmel Match Perfection creates a light dewy finish to the skin and the infamous Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer helps cover up any pesky blemishes or dark circles. I think going for a fresher look for your skin on Valentine's by using these two products will definitely be a winning look if you're hoping to impress that certain someone! To add a natural flush to my cheeks I went for Benefit's blusher shade in Dandelion which is a beautiful light pink with a touch of shimmer. This blush will give your cheeks that lovely light glow that will leave you looking beautifully radiant!

Starting with my brows I went for Soap & Glory's Archery which is one of my absolute favourite makeup items in my collection. I love how natural yet defined it leaves my brows and never gives me that heavy over-filled in look! For my eyes I decided to use my Naked 3 palette and applied the shade Liar to the lid and Factory into the crease. I've been trying to use my Naked 3 palette a lot more recently as I hardly used it when I first bought it because I found the shades quite difficult to work with for my skin ton/ eye colour. Now that I've kindled a love for these two shadows, I'm always reaching for this gorgeous looking palette! Finally I finished the eye look with Urban Decay's 24/ 7 Eye Liner in Stag and applied a generous amount of Benefit's Roller Lash to give my lashes that fluttery look!

Now to the lips which are what I wanted to be the focus point in this makeup look. I chose the gorgeous lipstick from Soap & Glory called Pom Pom which is a matte deep pink shade. I couldn't decide between a red or pink lipstick for this look, but I think this shade is a nice in-between colour and works really well for this time of year. The staying power of this lipstick is also incredible - even after hours of wear it still stays put and doesn't fade into patches like some lipsticks can!

So this is the look I'm going to wear this Valentine's day! I hope you all like it and if you have done a post similar to this I would love to have a read. I think Valentine's day is definitely a day you can experiment with your makeup, so have fun with it!

What are your thoughts on my makeup look?
Hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day!

Collective Beauty & Makeup Haul

Collective Beauty And Makeup Haul Spring 2014 Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Hello lovelies! Recently I've been treating myself to a lot of retail therapy and over the past few weeks I've accumulated a pretty large haul that I thought I would share with you all. There have been quite a few products on my wish list as I've felt that my beauty and makeup collection needed a bit of an update! With the "help" from Boots' 3 for 2 offer on pretty much everything beauty related, I was able to pick up a few bargains as well as some naughty impulse purchases from the beauty counters!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette | £37.00 | LINK
One of the first makeup items I picked up was actually the one I had been lusting after the most and it's of course the beautiful Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. After weeks of umming and ahhing at the Urban Decay counter, I finally took the plunge and added this gorgeous rose gold palette to my collection. So far I have been enjoying it, but I do find it's a bit harder to work with compared to the original Naked palette. The colours and packaging are beautiful but I do think I need to have a proper play around with this palette to find some eye looks that I like.

Topshop Nails Nail Polish | £5.00 reduced to £1.00 each | LINK
I've never been one to buy many of Topshop's nail polishes. I absolutely adore their lipsticks and cream blushers, but never really went for their nail varnishes. The other day I spotted they had a basket full of polishes for just £1 each in their sale, so I decided to pick up these 3 very pretty shades: Twilight Tease, Tingle and Suffuse. Twilight Tease and Suffuse are both metallic finish polishes that are opaque in 1 coat and look lovely on the nails! Tingle is a sheer pink polish with lots of silver glitter in it and looks amazing over the top of Suffuse! My opinion on Topshop's polishes has definitely changed since trying these shades, so I'll definitely be trying some more in the future!

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 100 Ivory | £6.99 reduced to £5.00 | LINK
I finally picked up a new foundation. For me this is really rare as I usually tend to stick to 1 foundation for 2 or 3 years! After really enjoying Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation, I thought I would try their sister version that contains not shimmer. The glow you get from Wake Me Up is lovely, but some days I would much prefer to have a less dewy looking face. I've been using this for almost a week now and I absolutely love it! The coverage and formula are great, perfect for the skin look I like to go for!

Soap & Glory Archery in Brownie Points | £10.00 | LINK
After spending almost a year using a random Benefit eye shadow to fill in my brows, I thought I would try something completely different. I'd heard that Soap & Glory's Archery was a really quick and effective product to use to fill in brows. It has 2 sides: a thin brush end that you can use to tint your brows and the other side is a brow pencil. I've been really enjoying the tinting side as it leaves my brows looking defined yet still natural looking!

Soap & Glory Feel Good Factor* | £12.00 | LINK
I actually was sent Feel Good Factor by the lovely girls from Soap & Glory and I thought I would pop it in this haul to give you a brief overview of the product plus my initial thoughts! This is a translucent BB cream that you apply before your makeup to help moisturise, prime and protect your skin from the sun's UV rays - a great multi-purpose product! So far I've found this leaves my skin feeling really soft and helps my makeup stay put pretty much all day, even whilst I'm at work! I'm really enjoying this product so far, it's a great added step in my face routine to help improve my skin. I will be posting a review of Feel Good Factor on my blog soon, so if you want to read more then do keep your eyes peeled!

Soap & Glory Lid Stuff in What's Nude | £10.00 | LINK
I've seen so many bloggers raving about this little eye shadow quad and with every post or video I saw, I wanted it even more! What's Nude contains 3 matte and 1 shimmer shadows which are all great everyday shades. I haven't actually tried the shadows yet but I'm planning to include Lid Stuff in a few upcoming posts so I will update you all on it then!

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Fuchsia-Ristic | £8.00 | LINK
After receiving a Gloss Stick at Christmas in Nudist, I knew I had to add more of these lip crayons to my collection! I'm already a sucker for lip crayons and personally, I think Soap & Glory's has one of the best formulas on the high street! Fuchsia-Ristic is a bright coral shade that leaves a really pretty wash of colour on the lips. My favourite thing about these lip crayons is the scent, it's blooming lovely - plus they have a really moisturising formula which leave my lips feeling very soft.

Collective Beauty And Makeup Haul Spring 2014 Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo Conditioner 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo & Conditioner | £5.99 each | LINK
Recently my hair has become very frizzy and "fluffy" looking due to all of my little baby hairs starting to grow through - grr! I thought I would swap up my shampoo and conditioner to something a lot more hydrating to help smooth my hair back down. I opted for Aussie's Miracle Moist duo as I knew that they would really help moisturise my hair, and so far they have! My hair is a lot more manageable since using these together plus my curls have become a lot more defined. As always, these Aussie product also leave my hair smelling gorgeous so it's a win-win situation!

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner | £4.99 | LINK
For an extra boost of hydration (and because it was free in the Boots 3 for 2 deal!) I also picked up the 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor. I've seen this featured on Anna's channel quite a lot saying how well it conditions her hair, so I thought I would try it out as well! I really love this product, again it smells amazing and it does leave my hair feeling so much stronger and nourished! A big thank you Aussie for saving my hair!

Collective Beauty And Makeup Haul Spring 2014 Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Cream Super Balm Lush Fluffy Egg Balistic Rose Bubble Bar Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Superdrug Vitamin E Radiance Eye Cream | £2.99 | LINK
I've always suffered with dry eye lids and I've never really found an eye cream that actually helps clear this problem up. I love the Superdrug Vitamin E range so I decided to pick up their eye cream on a whim and see whether or not this could help cure my dry eye lids. This eye cream is quite temperamental. You have to use the right amount and pat it into your eyes otherwise it will go all funny and leave white bits round your eyes - not a pretty look! But, if you do use this cream correctly it leaves your eyes feeling really soft and over the past few weeks it's actually cleared up my dry skin problem! I am impressed with this eye cream and even though you do have to work with it in a particular way, it's well worth it!

Superdrug Vitamin E Super Balm | £3.99 | LINK
At the same time I picked up a new product in the Vitamin E line called Super Balm. This is a multi-purpose product that can be used on your lips, nails, cuticles and dry areas on your body. As I have been trying out gel polishes recently, I thought this would be a great product to put oils back into my nails which can be lost with the use of acetone and primers. It has a really smooth formula and leaves your nails feeling nourished and cuticles feeling soft! Definitely a great little product to have in your nail bag!

Lush Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb | £2.95 | LINK
Finally I picked up a couple new products from Lush (even thought I still have a few left from Christmas!). The Fluffy Egg bath bomb is a large pink egg with little flowers in and smells just like Snow Fairy. This will leave your bath water smelling amazing and will definitely help people who are craving the Christmas favourite Snow Fairy products!

Lush Rose Bubble Bar | £2.95 | LINK
This is probably one of the prettiest bubble bars I've seen Lush do and it went straight into my little wicker basket! This little bubble bar smells very floral and soothing due to it containing rose oil, plus with the cocoa butter it will also help leave your skin feeling really soft! The Rose bubble bar is quite small, but I definitely think it's worth the money purely because of how lovely it looks! I'm really looking forward to my pamper bath times with my new Lush goodies!

So these are the latest beauty and makeup additions to my collection! I'm really happy with everything I've picked up recently and I can't wait to start creating lots of new looks with these products. I hope you enjoyed this haul and let me know if you've tried anything I've bought recently.

Hello lovelies and happy Friday to you all - I hope that you're all looking forward to your weekend! I'm definitely looking forward to mine because I'm finally going to see the amazing Ellie Goulding at the O2 in London on Sunday - eeek, I'm so excited! I absolutely love Ellie and this will be the first time seeing her performing live and I really can't wait. I've never actually been to a proper concert like this in an arena (shocking isn't it?) so I'm also pretty nervous as I don't really cope well in large crowds, especially in an enclosed space! Luckily we're not getting the train up there as I've seen the ridiculous queues/ crowds lining up for the station after the shows - it's mental and definitely not a situation I would enjoy...

For today's post I thought I would do a little Spring time makeup look focusing around one of my favourites lipstick shades (and colours in general) Topshop's Infrared. I love wearing a good bright orange lipstick in the Spring and Summer time, so now that the sun has finally got its hat back on, I'm fully embracing this sunny weather by wearing this lipstick on a daily basis. I guess you could call this my "everyday Spring makeup look" too as I have been wearing these products a lot recently since it's been all Summery outside!

Topshop's Infrared lipstick has a velvet finish which means it's mainly matte but with a slightly shiny effect. As it is a little matte it is important that you apply a lip balm before hand otherwise it will cling to any drier areas on your lips - not good! The colour pay off is amazing and looks so pretty on the lips. This isn't a lipstick for the faint hearted though as it is pretty bright and definitely takes a bit of getting used to. I however adore this lipstick and it's definitely on of my favourites for this time of year.

To match my lipstick I also applied Benefit's Coralista blusher to my cheeks as I think it ties the orange tones together really well. I love the slight sheen this blusher gives my skin and it makes it look dewy and healthy! I also applied a small amount of Benefit's Hoola bronzer to the contours of my cheeks and finished the look with a dusting of highlighter from the Sleek Face Form palette. These products together give a beautifully natural finish that I love wearing on a daily basis.

Finally for my eyes, I keep going back to one of my "safe" eye looks which is a shimmery golden shadow with a flick of liquid liner. As this is a pretty simple eye look, it does partner well with the bright orange lipstick. For the eye look I use Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze as a base and then apply Kitten and Bubbly from the Stila In The Light palette. The eye liner I've been using is Soap & Glory's Supercat Liner and is perfect for creating a slight winged effect. Together, they create such a simple look but it's one that never fails to look pretty for the day time.

So this is my Spring time makeup look that's perfect for everyday! My foundation base rarely changes and has been one I've used for a long time, but if you want to read more then do check out this post about my base makeup. I hope you enjoyed this post and hopefully you have found some new products to add to your Spring time makeup routine!

What are your go to makeup products for Spring?
