Hello loveies, today I'm going to show you what products I like to keep in my beauty bag! These are the things that I always take out with me in my handbag and that I class as "on the go beauty essentials". I'm someone who doesn't like to bring a whole selection of makeup, rather just a couple pieces plus a few other useful products! I have done a "What's In my Makeup Bag" post before, but I thought I would update you with what I am currently taking around with me. If you read the last post, you can see that I have a new makeup bag which again is from Primark and I believe it was around £3! I absolutely love the stud detailing and think it looks so pretty against the white leather effect.

♥ Makeup
Like I said, I do bring a couple pieces of makeup with me where ever I go just for touch ups during the day. Firstly, I always bring my lipstick I am wearing that day and in this case it is Topshop's Lip Tint in "Crystal". I recently picked this up and I am in love with it! It's such a pretty pink shade with lots of glitter in, definitely a perfect lipstick for Summer! Another lip product that's always in my beauty bag is Bloom Cosmetic's Lip Butter in "Queen Of The Night". This is a sheer deep red/ pink and gives my lips a hint of colour, so is perfect for when I leave my lipstick at home! I also bring a mini sample of mascara with me for touch ups throughout the day and the one I'm currently using is Benefit's They're Real mascara.  This came in the "She's So Jetset" kit I got for Christmas and to be honest, I'm not 100% keen on it. I like how it makes my lashes look but as it wears through the day, I can find it quite uncomfortable on my eyes! However, I am going to keep on trying it and hopefully use it up soon. Finally I always bring this mini sample of Jane Iredale Powder Foundation* in "Golden Glow" so I can touch up any shiny areas on my face. This is a lovely powder with great coverage and I find mattifies my oilier areas very well.

♥ Beauty Products
The first beauty product I always bring with me is my mini can of Sebastian Professional Shaper Fierce Ultra-Firm Hairspray*. This hairspray is amazing and I completely agree that it's an ultra-firm hold as you only need a tiny amount to make your hair stay in place! I love using this to create volume at the roots when my hair has fallen throughout the day. Next up is a sample of the Jergens Ultra Healing body lotion that was a freebie in Marie-Claire last month. Areas of my skin, like my elbows, can get very dry throughout the day and I find this is perfect to apply to help soften them back up! It sinks in quickly, has a very nice smell and because I liked it so much, I also bought it in the hand cream version which is just as lovely! The next 2 products that are always in my beauty bag are my 2 favourite lip balms, the Blistex Relief Cream and Nivea's Soothe & Protect balm. Lip balms are an essential to your handbag and I find these ones together keep my lips chap free and super soft! I really recommend these 2 brands for lip products as I always find they help my lips when they're sore, especially in the Winter. Finally, I keep this little pot of Primark Nail Polish Remover Pads for days when my nail polish chips so much, I have to take it off! These are surprisingly very good, however they do contain acetate which can temporarily turn your nails white and dry them out, so I wouldn't recommend using these everyday. But they are great for an "emergency" or if you've been swatching too many nail polishes on your trip to Boots!

♥ Perfumes
For keeping perfumes in your bag, samples are your best friend! I've accumulated a few over the past few months and I think they're really handy to keep in your bag for when you need a bit of sprucing up! The ones I have are: YSL Manifesto, Ellie Saab Le Parfum and Van Cleef & Arples Oriens. I like having different scents in my handbag as just having the same one can get a bit boring after a while! Finally I also have a roller ball version of Vera Wang's Princess which is my all time favourite perfume and is perfect for using as a little pick me up during the day!

So they're all the products I bring with me in my beauty bag every time I go out. I also have a golden bow compact mirror and packet of mini nail files (you can see them in the picture of all the products) which I think are a necessities for any girl's handbag! I hope you enjoyed this post and if there are any products you want a full review on, then please ask in the comments below!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday weekend, especially with all this sunny weather we're having recently! Today I'm going to review some products that I was very kindly sent from Lumiere Cosmetics, an American based company. I hadn't heard too much about this brand before but was very interested in the fact they specialise in mineral makeup, something I haven't tried a lot of. I was sent a little "Blogger Kit" that consisted of: 3 loose mineral pigment eye shadows, 2 mineral blusher pigments and a mini Lumi Lips lips gloss, all of which I was very excited to try out!

Lumiere Cosmetics Loose Eye Shadow Pigments* [$8.00/ £5.18] LINK
The first products I tried were the loose eye shadow pigments and I chose to have 3 random shades from the Brown & Neutrals range which were: Halo, Sand Beige and Special Dark. Halo is a shimmery golden champagne shade which looks beautiful as a lid colour. I have been loving this pigment as an everyday look when paired with Urban Decay's Sidecar eye shadow in the crease; they look so lovely together! Next, Sand Beige is a shimmery golden nude which again works well as an all over lid colour. As I have brown eyes, I find these kind of golden shades suit my eye colour and makes them really stand out! Again, this is a very pretty neutral eye shadow that a lot of people will like and I think would look amazing in the Summer with a tan. Finally, Special Dark is a very pigmented matte black/ brown which can work as a powder eye liner or for a deep crease colour. I'm loving layering Special Dark over my brown pencil eye liner to make the colour more intense and last a lot longer!

These eye shadow pigments are amazing and I wish that I had tried more mineral shadows before! The pigmentation is lovely, especially Special Dark, and if that's not enough you can apply these pigments wet for a more intense look. Like most shadow pigments, there is a fair amount of fall out, in particular the shimmery shades as the glitter is quite prone to going over your cheeks, so just be careful when applying these! I also found these pigments have great staying power when used with a primer and I don't have to touch them up throughout the day. Overall these are fantastic eye shadows and Lumiere Cosmetics has an amazing range of colours to try for all different kinds of looks!

Lumiere Cosmetics Blusher Pigments* [$12.00/ £7.77] & All Over Colour Pigments* [$18.00/ £11.66] LINK | LINK
Next up were the two blusher pigments which again were randomly selected by Lumiere Cosmetics and the shades I received were: Adobe Sunset (blusher) and Summer Warmth (all over colour) which both have matte finishes. Adobe Sunset is a gorgeous neutral peach blusher which gives a really nice flush of colour to the cheeks. I've found this blusher is perfect for an everyday look where you just want a hint of natural colour to your cheeks rather than a pink or orange. Summer Warmth on my skin tone works more as a bronzer which gives your skin a healthy colour! These two products together work really well at giving your skin a gorgeous glow which is perfect for the Summer time!

As you can see from the swatches, the pigmentation of these two blushers is amazing and you literally need the tiniest amount when applying them. I do find that Summer Warmth can turn quite orange on my skin if I apply too much, so it's best to build it up little by little. Also, they are both blend very easily and are smooth to apply which makes them look so natural on the skin. I find these last really well on my cheeks and I only have to reapply some more towards the end of the day!

Lumiere Cosmetics Lumi Lips Lip Gloss* [$8.50/ £5.51] LINK
The final product I was able to try was this mini Lumi Lips lip gloss in English Rose which is a warm rosy pink with a touch of shimmer. I love this lip gloss shade as it's very neutral and it gives my lips a nice amount of shine! It comes with a doe-foot applicator which is my favourite type of lip gloss applicator as I find it applies the product evenly and smoothly. I really cannot fault this lip gloss, the formula is so smooth that it feels like I'm wearing a lip balm and I do not find it sticky at all! This is a really lovely lip product and wouldn't hesitate to buy some in full size!

Overall, Lumiere Cosmetics is a fantastic brand and they offer an amazing range of makeup where there is something for everyone! I also think everything is priced really well and great value for your money. Considering these little samples alone will last me a long time, I'm sure the full sized products will last even longer as you only need tiny amounts at a time! As I received samples of each of the products I can't comment on the full size packaging, however each of these little pots are sturdy and I like that they allow you to see what shade's inside! If you're looking for some affordable and brilliant quality mineral makeup, I would definitely recommend you trying out Lumiere Cosmetics products!

April Favourite's

April Favourite's 2013 - Magnifibres Essie Revlon Benefit Close Up

Hello lovelies! So today I'm going to be sharing my April favourite's with you. April is one of my favourite months of the year mainly because mine and my boyfriend's anniversary falls on the 23rd and this year we celebrated our 4 years together - it's scary how fast time goes! This month I have been loving quite a few new makeup products, some of which you may already have seen reviews about and I think they're all perfect for the Spring and Summer!

♥ Dainty Doll Powder Blusher in "You Are My Sunshine" [Review] LINK
My first beauty favourite is this Dainty Doll blusher in "You Are My Sunshine". This is a gorgeous golden peach blush with tiny shimmers that give your cheeks a really healthy and dewy glow! I've found that I don't even need to use a highlighter with this blush as it acts like a 2 in 1 product. I love how this applies to my skin as the formula is really smooth and pigmented, so you only need a small amount to give your cheeks a beautiful flush of colour! I definitely want to try more of these blushers, especially some more pink toned ones like "My Girl".

♥ Magnifibres Brush-On False Lashes* [Review] LINK
Next is one of my favourite eye products of all time! Magnifibres makes my lashes look so full, defined and amazing that I can't go a day without using it! This is designed to be applied between 2 coats of mascara to give a false lash effect with out the hassle of the real ones themselves. For some people the effect can be too much for the day time, but I personally love how this makes my lashes look! If you suffer with thin and short eyelashes, I would really recommend you giving this product a go!

♥ Essie Nail Lacquer in "Off The Shoulder" [Review] LINK
You may have seen this little beauty in my latest nails of the day post. "Off The Shoulder" is a gorgeous hot pink that looks stunning on the nails and has quicly become my new favourite polish! I've worn "Off The Shoulder" so much this month and still love it to bits, plus I've gotten quite a few compliments whenever I've worn it! The formula is amazing and is completely opaque and even in 2 coats. If you see this polish around, definitely pick it up, it's perfect for this time of year.

♥ Benefit Benetint & Revlon Lip Butter in "Wild Watermelon" Lip Combo LINK | LINK
Finally, these are my most worn lip products of April! I recently picked up a couple of the new Revlon Lip Butters and "Wild Watermelon" quickly became a firm favourite of mine. However, I felt like the colour could be stronger and last longer on the lips, so I decided to pair it with Benefit's Benetint. The tint provides a rosy pink/ red base colour which makes the lip butter a lot more vibrant and longer lasting. Also, I usually find lip tints quite drying but as the lip butter is very moisturising on the lips, I don't get this problem anymore. This lip look is perfect for Spring and Summer and is so easy to wear!

So these were my favourite products of April! I hope you enjoyed this post and that you have found some new makeup items you would like to try! If you have recently done your monthly favourites post/ video, please link it in the comments as I love reading these types of posts.

What are your April favourite's?
