Hello everyone! I hope you're all well and looking forward to your weekend ahead. In my last post I completely forgot to mention that last weekend I actually took the plunge and invested myself into a brand new Canon camera - the Canon EOS 1200D to be exact! I did use the camera for my last post, but at the time I still had absolutely no idea what I was doing with it so the pictures aren't the best quality in the world. Over the past week I've been playing around with settings and watching lots of YouTube videos on how to use DSLRs properly, so hopefully my photos will gradually start to become better quality!
I am so excited to take lots of pictures with my camera and just so you know, I didn't buy it purely for my blog (as I completely believe normal digital cameras work really well) but also because I have an interest in photography and have always wanted to own a good quality camera! Do let me know if you notice any difference in my picture quality or if you have any tips and tricks on using a Canon camera in the comments below!
Over the past couple years Soap & Glory has become one of my favourite brands to use. Their extensive makeup, skin care and body care range offer some amazing products and I have started to notice that I own far too many of them! The other day I decided to take advantage of Boot's latest deals on the Soap & glory products and pick up some new products as well as some of my essential products from the brand. The makeup is currently buy one get one half price and their skin care has up to half price off, which is definitely a deal not to be missed!
Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Shine Lacquer | £7.00 each | LINK
After trying their lip lacquer in Riot last year (read the post here) I told myself that I needed to try out some more shades from the line. As someone who enjoys a good coral lip, picking up Whatchama-Coral was a no brainer for me and was the first product to find its way into my basket. Whatchama-Coral is a beautifully intense coral shade with a hint of shimmer to it. As there has been lots of hype about a brown nude lip recently, I also picked up Charm Offensive to use as an everyday shade and again, it has an amazingly opaque finish with a slight shimmer. What I love about these lacquers is that they don't feel heavy or sticky on your lips yet still offer lots of colour. I also love that they feel smooth on your lips and apply really easily. I will be reviewing these 2 shades very soon, so keep an eye out for swatches!
Super-Colour Fabulipstick | £9.00 | LINK
The next lip product I picked up was another lipstick from the Super-Colour Fabulipstick line. I absolutely adore my lipstick in The Missing Pink (read the post here) and thought I should try out another shade that I could use everyday. As The Missing Pink is a pink shade, I thought picking up a more red toned lipstick would be nice to add to my collection. I decided to go for Perfect Day which is a natural red shade with a satin finish. These lipsticks feel so nourishing on the lips and I would recommend them to anyone! Again, I will be reviewing this lipstick soon where I will include lots of swatches.
Peaches & Clean Cleanser | £8.00 | LINK
Moving on to, what I'd like to call, my "staple Soap & Glory" products. Firstly I picked up one of the Peaches & Clean cleansers which is what I use to cleanse and clean my face everyday. I think this cleanser has some stick for being quite harsh and causing people to have allergic reactions, but I've never once has this issue - despite having very sensitive and dry skin! This cleanser removes all of my makeup and has really helped clear up my skin from blemishes. This is definitely a product I will keep repurchasing in the future!
I have been an avid fan of this mascara for years! The Thick & Fast mascara offers length, volume and definition to the eye lashes all in one nifty little tube. This is just an all round brilliant mascara and is always one that I come back to using. These mascaras also last a really long time without drying up but I always like to make sure I have a back up in my drawer at all times!
Archery Brow Tint & Pencil in Brownie Points | £10.00 | LINK
Finally I picked up one of my favourite makeup products I own, the Archery Brow Tint and Pencil. To me, eye brows are an important feature as they helped to frame your face - so it's essential to keep them looking their best! I find the tint side offers a really natural finish to your brows whilst at the same time making them look fuller and more defined. I really love that you get 2 products in one as well as I do like to use the pencil side if I'm going for a more natural look.
So these are some of the products that I have picked up from the Soap & Glory brand recently! I will definitely be reviewing the lip products, but if you would like to see a post on how I fill in my brows using Archery then do let me know.
Thank you for reading today's post!
What products have you tried from Soap & Glory recently?
What's your favourite product from the brand?
Oh man, I've only heard of two of these products! Soap & Glory has so many new releases, it seems! Actually, I think what it is is that it takes them so much longer to get to Canada... So everything seems new and exciting. They really seem to be nailing their lip products, that's for sure!

They do bring out lots of new products which is bad for my purse as it means I want to try everything! They definitely are, they have some of the best on the high street :) xx
DeleteThe pictures are lovely! I'd really love to try this cleanser, still experimenting to find which cleanser is best for my acne prone skin. I thought this cleanser sounded great but then I've also heard such mixed reviews on it :(
ReplyDeleteDaxidream x
Thank you! I've heard lots of mixed opinions on it too, but for me it's really helped clear up my blemishes and doesn't aggrovate my sensitive skin :) Maybe give it a try when it's on offer! Xx
DeleteI love the shades you chose. I'm not keen on the thick and fast mascara. The brush is quite big and scary x
ReplyDeleteKate | A British Sparkle
They are gorgeous :) I'm really loving Charm Offensive at the moment! Ahh I love this mascara, the brush isn't too big to be honest :) I find its a good size for my lashes xx
DeleteSoap and glory's sexy mother pucker's are amazing, so pigmented and great shades. xx

Aren't they just :)? Can't wait to experiment with makeup looks using them! Xx
DeleteI Love Soap & Glory products, their cosmetics are amazing and it's sad that they're releasing so slowly (hopefully means they're developing Amazing things)
ReplyDeleteI have all three of those lip products and I love them, Perfect Day is one of my favourite lip shades.
In fact I have all of those things other than archery lol - Love S&G
True, but I'd rather them spend longer on creating an amazing product rather than just pushing out lots of rubbish products - quality over quantity :) Ooh glad to hear you like them! You definitely need to try Archery, it's amazing! Xx
DeleteI recently picked up the archery brow pencil and I adore it! I totally agree, it's important to look after your eye brows as they really do frame your face, and I think this is the perfect product to do just that!

It's brilliant isn't it :)? I was so surprised at how long the tint side lasts as well! Definitely a great product xx
DeleteGreat haul! I definitely need to try more soap and glory makeup x
ReplyDeleteHeather | Of Beauty & Nothingness
Thank you :) I highly recommend their products, so definitely have a little splurge in Boots! Xx
DeleteI love the sleep cream by Soap and Glory, I really want to try the Peaches and Cream Cleanser. I bet it smells amazing!
ReplyDeleteGreyWalls
I haven't tried their sleep cream, will have to look into it! It smells just like peaches which I personally think is lovely :) xx
DeleteI am desperate to try the archery pencil!! I think I'll get it to see what its like but I'm not overly keen on pencils! My brows are too thick and dark for small hair-like brows!!
ReplyDeletex x | daisydaisyxxo
This version of Archery has a brow tint side too, I believe there is a cheaper version available which is just the brow pencil. I'd recommend trying this one though as the tint gives your brows a naturally full look :) xx
Deletewow. everything looks great. I keep saying this, but I wish soap and glory would ship to Denmark. I've tried some of their products a long time ago and I have been craving them ever since. But they are not obtainable if you live in Denmark.
ReplyDeleteLoevens makeup rambles
Ah that's such a shame :( I guess you could always look into blog sales, I'm sure people have S&G products on them! Xx
DeleteGreat review / post! x

DeleteI never knew Soap & Glory had such a good beauty range! I've used their eyeliner which I loved so defo need to look into trying more out - especially that lipstick!
ReplyDeleteBeth // Bethany Georgina
They do have a lovely beauty range :) Their eye liners are fab, I love both their pencil and liquid liners! Xx
DeleteI'm loving Bourjois for mascara at the moment but I really want to try Thick and Fast. I really like Archery but it ran out and I haven't yet replaced it - I'm having a moment with the Maybelline Brow Satin!! xx
ReplyDeleteRamblings of a Beauty Bird | Beauty Blog
Bourjois is a brand I need to get back into, they have some amazing releases! I haven't heard much about the Maybelline Brow Satin, I'll keep a look out when I'm in Boots next :) xx
