For me, no makeup look is complete without a pop of liquid eye liner to my upper lash line. When I was younger I remember being told by one of my friends that my known makeup look was a flick of eye liner and mascara - and that really hasn't changed! I've been testing out many liquid liners over the past few years and last year I came across the brand Eyeko and their Skinny Liquid Eye Liner that was free with a copy of Glamour magazine. I completely fell in love with this eye liner and only used it on special occasions as I didn't really have the money to repurchase it if it ran out! Obviously after a while I did run out so I had to find new and cheaper alternatives to the lovely Eyeko liner.
Recently Glamour has done the same freebie and I was able to pick up a brand-spanking new eye liner for a mere £2! I've actually seen quite a few mixed reactions to this eye liner, so I thought it would be good to share my thoughts and opinions on the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner!

The Eyeko liquid liner comes in a sleek bright blue box and, as you may know, I love it when makeup items come in their own boxes because it always makes them feel a lot more expensive. The liner itself is a thin silver pen that fits in your hand perfectly and makes applying it super easy!

With this month's Glamour magazine, the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner came in both a navy and black shade, and as I'm a lover of the classic liner look I opted for the black shade. What I love about this eye liner is how opaque and jet black the liner comes out on the skin. As it has a super skinny felt tip applicator it allows you to either create a super thin line for an everyday natural look or allow you to build up the intensity and create a thicker, cat like effect! The felt tip applicator is also quite long and has a good amount of flexibility which adds to the ease of applying it.

Once applied to the eye, the skinny liquid liner dries fairly quick which helps minimise any smudging or transferring. Throughout the day I find that the liner stays put and doesn't start to smudge or fade until the end of the day. I'm really impressed with how well this liner lasts on the eyes as I've never found it to go patchy or fade, even in really hot weather! Despite being really long lasting, the skinny liquid liner is easy to remove with a bit of eye makeup remover and a cotton pad which is always a bonus for those of us with sensitive eyes!

Overall I personally think the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner is a great piece to keep in your makeup bag! I've also read that many people found that this eye liner dried up really quick, but even with my older one I never found this to happen and it still produced an opaque black line after a few months of using it. For me this eye liner works really well and is definitely one I would consider repurchasing in the future, or I could always stock up on Glamour magazines haha! I believe you can still pick up this eye liner as a freebie, so be sure to pick up a copy as soon as possible!

Miss Selfridge Wish List | Pastels & Florals

Miss Selfridge Florals Pastels Fashion Accessories Wish List Summer 2014 Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

For years now Miss Selfridge has been one of my favourite places to shop for the latest fashion pieces as I've always been drawn in by their cute girly prints and gorgeous accessories! The other day I was having a browse through their website and found so many lovely pieces that I would just love to own! So I thought it was only natural to create a wish list post and share my fashion finds with you all. As you can see I went for a very specific theme here and seemed to only pick out floral and pastel pieces - for those who know me this probably won't come as much surprise!

1. Hawaiian Print T-Shirt | LINK | & Hawaiian Print Mini Skirt | LINK |
Despite co-ordinating pieces being such a huge trend recently, I haven't actually got round to picking up a set of my own! I spotted this t-shirt and skirt combo  and thought the print was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for the summer. I can imagine this would look amazing with a pair of heels and totally dressed up for a night out with the girls!

2. Floral Printed Skort | LINK |
Since originally spotting these floral skorts on the website, they have now become a new welcome addition to my wardrobe! I love the print on these and I think they can be easily dressed up or down depending on what you pair them with. I actually wore them out this weekend with a loose black cami and black wedges and I loved how it looked! What I love about skorts is that they look like a super cute swishy skirt, yet you have the security of them being actual shorts - always good for a windy day haha!

3. Blue Baroque Floral Print Top | LINK |
What really drew me in about this top are the colours and that it has little sleeves. I own so many cami style tops at the moment so I'm trying to add some tops with actual sleeves into my wardrobe and I think this would be a great piece to have. I also like that the pattern is quite simple and muted which means you can just pair the top with some light wash jeans for an effortlessly pretty outfit!

4. Mid Wash Crochet Trim Shorts | LINK |
The denim shorts from Miss Selfridge have all been really cute recently and this pair in particular caught my eye! I like how there's a small amount of crochet detailing at the bottom and I think paired with the top above it definitely adds a little something to the overall look.

5. Floral Overlay Playsuit | LINK |
I always find blue and purple florals to look so lovely on clothes so this playsuit really appealed to me! I think it's really sweet and the kind of piece you can wear for any occasion. I've always been a huge lover of playsuits as well as they're so easy to wear and I definitely prefer them to dresses!

6. Coral Embellished Vest | LINK | 7. Rose Floral Jogger | LINK |
The next 2 pieces I found seemed made a really cute outfit, so I thought I would talk about them together! I really do love my corals so this top would be something really simple to add to my wardrobe that would go with pretty much anything - especially these floral joggers! As the colour of the top picks out the corals in the roses on the joggers, I think these 2 would look so lovely together! Plus these floral joggers would make a great transitional piece for Summer/ Autumn when the evening get a bit cooler yet you still want a pretty Summery print!

8. Pastel Green Stone Necklace | LINK | 9. White Stone Flower Necklace | LINK |
Miss Selfridge has always been my favourite shop to buy jewellery from as it's quite inexpensive and is good quality. I do mainly buy my jewellery from their sale but these 2 necklaces both look too pretty to pass up! I have many statement necklaces in my collection but nothing like these 2 and I think they would be perfect for glamming up a Summer time outfit!

10. Eden Summer Flat | LINK |
I have been on the hunt for this style of shoe for quite some time and I keep looking at these Miss Selfridge ones! I'm not too sure if they're classed as sandals but they are definitely they kind of shoe that everyone needs in the Summer. I think these would look really cute with midi dresses or a simple Summer's day outfit - I will definitely be on the hunt for these next time I'm in Miss Selfridge.

11. Pink Flower Head Band | LINK |
Flower head bands are perfect for festivals and weddings, yet even thought I'm not going to either any time soon I still really want one of my own! I think they look so cute on and if I could pull off wearing one everyday, I totally would!

12. Pastel Stone Ring Pack | LINK |
Finally I spotted these really cute pastel stone rings and thought they would help complete any outfit during the Summer time! As you get a selection of shades to wear, you can swap and change depending on what you're wearing or you could wear all 3 for some pastel bling overload!

So these are some of the things from the Miss Selfridge website that I have really been loving! If you don't shop at Miss Selfridge very much I totally recommend that you pop into their store more often as they always have such a lovely selection of clothes and accessories to choose from! Thank you for reading and do let me know in the comments your thoughts on my Miss Selfridge wish list.
