Review | Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Collection

Soap And Glory Sugar Crush Collection Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Hello lovelies! Today I thought I would review a few of my favourite products from the Soap & Glory body care line. Ever since trying the Sugar Crush Body Scrub over a year ago, I've been hooked on the gorgeous sweet lime scent! I know many bloggers have raved about this line over on their blogs, so I thought I would share my thoughts and opinions on them too. The Sugar Crush line consists of 3 products: the body wash, body scrub and the body buttercream. These 3 products are designed to work together in order to leave your skin looking, feeling and smelling amazing! I have been using these 3 products together religiously over the past month (but I have been using the scrub for over a year) so I thought now is a good time to talk about how good they really are.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash | £6.50 | LINK
First up is the Sugar Crush Body Wash which has a really sweet lime scent, but isn't as strong as the other 2 products. It comes in a huge 500ml bottle with a pump dispenser which I love as it means you don't pour out too much of the product and waste it! I find 2 - 3 pumps of this body wash on to a luffa is enough to produce lots of lather in order to wash your whole body. This body wash also lathers up fairly quickly and leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed which is essential in any body wash. I find that the scent of the body wash does linger for an hour or so, but will start to disappear quickly unless you pair it with the body buttercream!

As it contains the lime and lemon scents, it really is good at giving you a boost of energy in the morning (perfect for those of us who struggle with early mornings!). It also contains oils that leave your skin feeling really soft, even when you don't use the other 2 products, so there's no risk of this product drying out your skin! For me, this body wash is amazing and I don't think I could ever use a body wash that isn't by Soap & Glory again. Their bottles are good value for money as they last absolutely ages!

Next up is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub which, as I said before, was the first Sugar Crush product I used. The scent of the body scrub is probably the strongest out of the 3 and I absolutely love it! This body scrub contains brown sugar, macadamia grains and sea salt in order to exfoliate any patches of dry skin you may have. It's gentle enough to use all over the body around 2 or 3 times a week, yet strong enough to really get rid of those dry patches. For me I always find my elbows, knees and upper arms tend to get dry, but whenever I use this I know that they will be much smoother. Plus as it also contains macadamia and almond oil, these will nourish your skin leaving it feeling really soft. I apply the body scrub in small circular movements over my body as this is an effective way of removing all of the dry areas of skin. Afterwards I simply rinse and then wash with the Sugar Crush body wash to remove any sugar granules left behind!

This tub is fairly large in size but as I only use a small amount when I exfoliate with this, a little does go a long way so this will last you a good amount of time. I haven't found an exfoliator that I'd prefer to use over the Sugar Crush one, so this is definitely at the top of my body care favourites list!

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream | £10.50 | LINK
To finish the trio of Sugar Crush products is the Body Buttercream which is a really thick and luxurious feeling body butter. It smells just like the other 2 products so if you use this after exfoliating and washing, then the scent will last much longer on your skin. I'm quite bad at remembering to use body lotions and butters straight after my shower, but when ever I do I always reach for this! It's packed with oils, shea butter and cocoa butter which all leave your skin feeling amazingly soft and nourished.

Even though the consistency is quite thick, it does absorb into your skin fairly quickly and doesn't leave behind a greasy residue on the skin. For me, it leaves my skin feeling soft all day and really does help treat the drier areas on my body. If my skin has been really dry (Winter skin is horrible!) then I do sometimes use this on the backs of my hands or feet to give them a moisture boost. Again this tub is huge and as you don't have to use loads of product, it will last you a long time and I think it's well worth the money.

So as you may be able to tell, I'm completely in love with this gorgeous trio from Soap & Glory. I think the scent will be perfect for the Summer time as well as it's so refreshing and energising! I would highly recommend anyone trying these products (I have sensitive skin and they're fine for my skin type) especially as you can pick up all 3 in a 3 for 2 deal in Boots - this means you can try everything for under £20, bargain!

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well and looking forward to the weekend ahead! Today I thought I would share with you all a few bits and pieces that I picked up recently. It's probably not the most exciting haul out there, but I'm really happy with some of the things I have found! I've had my eye set on picking up some new shoes for work and plus a couple of hair pieces, so I'm really excited to be showing you what I bought!

Primark Tan Quilted Shoulder Bag | £4.00 |
One of the first things I picked up was this really sweet shoulder bag from Primark. During the Spring and Summer time I like to carry around much smaller bags and I thought the style and colour of this one was perfect! The quality of this bag is so lovely, the faux leather is soft and it has 2 large compartments to store all of your essentials in. I think this bag will be really popular over the next few weeks, especially because it's so cheap as well! I highly recommend you picking this up next time you're in your local Primark.

H&M Hair Accessories | £3.99 & £1.99 | LINK (similar) | LINK |
I've been loving wearing my hair in high ponytails recently, so I thought I would pick up a couple of hair accessories to make them look a bit dressier. I've always loved how the metal clips looked on ponytails, so I thought I would finally jump on the bandwagon and pick one up from H&M. I love the dimpled effect on the metal and the fact it's very secure when fastened. I believe these are relatively old stock as this was the last one I could find in this style, so if you want to find one then definitely take a look soon.

The next hair accessory I picked up was a quite an impulse buy, but as it was so cute looking and only £1.99, I thought I'd get it anyway! It's a blue and white polka dot hair scrunchie with little wire bunny ears - I know, definitely something I'd be wearing back in the 90's haha! This is such a sweet accessory to use and I'm really tempted to pick up the floral version. I haven't taken this out since I've bought it, so it's safe to say hair scrunchies are still a winner with me!

Topshop Cream Blush in Prime Time | £6.00 reduced to £3.00 |
Next up is this gorgeous Topshop cream blusher in Prime Time. I picked this up a few weeks ago in the Topshop sale as I love the formula of their cream blushers. I'm pretty sure I've had my eye on this shade as well so it was great to find it for only £3! It's a gorgeous bright pink shade that, if you use lightly, can give you a pretty rosy glow that's perfect for this time of the year.

Rimmel Nail Nurse Nail Rescue | £4.49 | LINK |
Recently my nails have been in really bad condition and I needed to find a product that would help. A couple weeks ago I was watching a video on YouTube and an ad popped up about the new Nail Nurse line from Rimmel. It really interested me so the next time I went to Boots, I picked up a bottle of the Nail Rescue treatment. It's only day 4 of me having the treatment on my nails and I'm really glad to report that my nails are really strong, healthy and have no signs of peeling or splitting! I've actually read that this product is really similar to OPI's Nail Envy, so if you're looking for a cheaper alternative then I really do recommend this!

VO5 Hair Products | £2.49 & £1.99 | LINK | LINK |
Next up are a couple a products from VO5 that I picked up in a local discount store. I've been in need of some new heat protectant and as this was relatively cheap (plus I love a lot of their other products) I thought I'd give it a try. So far I really like it, the scent is nice plus it leaves my hair feeling really soft! I also picked up the Plump It Up Dry Shampoo as I thought this was the backcombing spray - oops! Hopefully this will work just as well as I adore the backcombing spray for doing my messy high ponytails!

New Look Gold Detail Boots | £24.99 | LINK |
The final thing that I picked up were these gorgeous black suede effect boots with golden detail on the front and back. I originally found a similar pair in Miss Selfridge for around £50, but they didn't have my size, so I was really happy to find these for pretty much half the price (plus student discount!). I love that they have a low heel so I can wear these to work without having sore feet after. I absolutely love these shoes, they're probably my favourite pair at the moment!

So these are a few things that I picked up recently. I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you've put up a haul on your blog, then do leave me the link in the comments! Thank you for reading!

Review | Real Techniques Starter Set

Real Techniques Starter Set Eye Makeup Brushes Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Real Techniques Starter Set Eye Makeup Brushes Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well and that you're looking forward to your weekend. Today I thought I would finally get a new review up on my blog - my first one of 2014! It's actually been almost 2 months since my last one which is so bad for a beauty blogger, so I thought I would do a much over due review of the Real Techniques Starter Set brushes. I got this set for my birthday last year and lots of you wanted to see my thoughts and opinions on them, so now I've finally gotten round to it! I absolutely love Real Techniques brushes and when it got to a point that I felt that I needed to expand my eye brush collection, it was only natural to pick up their Starter Set.

The Real Techniques Starter Set contains 5 makeup brushes all made from synthetic bristles. They also come in a black brush case that can either store your brushes when your travelling or display them in a stand like in the first photo. All of the brushes have a purple coloured handle that helps define that these are from the eye brush collection from Real Techniques. These brushes are also very light weight and easy to use, which means anyone can have these brushes in their collection - especially if you're just starting out with makeup!

Real Techniques Starter Set Eye Makeup Brushes Deluxe Crease Brush Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

| Deluxe Crease Brush |
The first brush you get in the Starter Set is the Deluxe Crease Brush. This is a big, soft brush that is designed to be used to contour your eyes by applying a shadow into your crease. The bristles are dense which helps pick up plenty of product so that you can create an effortless eye look. I personally think this brush is a bit big for my crease and I much prefer to use this as a base/ lid colour brush. It applies lid colour so smoothly and as it's big, it covers a larger area very quickly. I really like this brush and is one of the brushes from this set I use every time I do my makeup!

Real Techniques Starter Set Eye Makeup Brushes Base Shadow Brush Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

| Base Shadow Brush |
The second brush from this set is the Base Shadow Brush and again is a brush that I use every time I do my makeup! This is designed to apply your lid colour and as it's very soft and dense, it does so flawlessly. I also enjoy using this brush as my crease brush - yes I know, I use the first 2 back to front, but for me I find that they work better this way! As the Base Shadow Brush is smaller than the Deluxe Crease Brush, I find that it applies the right thickness of shadow to my crease to create the perfect contoured look. I think if I had to choose to have only 1 eye brush in my collection, then I would definitely choose this one as it is very versatile and works amazingly with powder eye shadows!

Real Techniques Starter Set Eye Makeup Brushes Brow Brush Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

| Brow Brush |
The next brush in the Starter Set is the Brow Brush. This angled brush is designed to apply powder to your eye brows to create a softer and more natural brow look. I much prefer applying shadow to my brows compared to a pencil or felt tip brow liner, so I was very happy to have this brush in my set. However, for me this brush is too big and it feels like I can't achieve smaller brush strokes to create the natural look I like. Luckily I do have a smaller angled brush that I use, so now I use the Real Techniques Brow Brush as an angled eye liner brush. When I apply pencil liner to my lash line, I always like to set it with a powder and this is when this brush comes into action. It picks up plenty of product and is slim enough to apply it close to my lash line. This is a nice, dense brush that works really well and is one I do use on a regular basis!

Real Techniques Starter Set Eye Makeup Brushes Accent Brush Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

| Accent Brush |
Next up is the one of the smallest brushes in the set, the Accent Brush. This is meant to be the perfect brush for applying inner corner or brow bone highlighters or smudging out shadows or liners. The bristles, like all of the Starter Set brushes, are dense which means it's very good as smudging or smoking out liners. I also think this is a nice brush to apply a lower lash line eye shadow colour as it's small and can blend it out well.

Real Techniques Starter Set Eye Makeup Brushes Fine Liner Pixel Point Eyeliner Brush Review Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

| Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush |
The final brush in the Starter set is the Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush. This is the perfect brush for applying cream and gel eyeliners as it's slim and has a fine tip. This is the brush I use the least as I don't actually use any gel/ cream liners (if you have any recommendations of some I would love to hear them in the comments !). This could also work well as a lip brush as it is small and dense so it will apply the colour smoothly and evenly!

So these are my thoughts on the Real Techniques Starter Set! I absolutely love this set and highly recommend it if you're looking to expand your makeup brush collection. They're amazing quality and I think the price is really reasonable as it works out as just over £4 a brush! These are the perfect everyday eye brushes and I always find they apply my makeup beautifully. If you're interested in seeing what I think of the rest of my Real Techniques brush collection, including the Core Collection, then click here for the post!

What's In My Makeup Bag

What's In My Ted Baker Makeup Bag Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Blog

Today I thought I would do an updated "What's In My Makeup Bag" post. Since my last post (which was made in 2012) I have tried and tested a lot of makeup products, so naturally the products that I use on a regular basis has changed. I don't keep all of the makeup I use everyday in a makeup bag, these products and brushes are the ones that I usually grab when I'm going away for the weekend to stay at my boyfriend's for example. On a daily basis I do use a lot more products so for me, these makeup items together do give me a natural look that I can wear for any occasion!

Firstly I thought I would talk about the actual makeup bag that I use. This is my gorgeous pink and white Ted Baker Leda Large Wash Bag that I featured in my last birthday haul. This was a present from my boyfriend and I absolutely love it! It's big enough to fit all of the makeup I need, plus any skin care bits that I want to throw in as well. These wash/ makeup bags are quite pricey but I think they're completely worth it as they're so big and look beautiful! If you're thinking of buying one of the Ted Baker bags, then I highly recommend you doing so!

What's In My Ted Baker Makeup Bag Face Products Belle-Amie UK Beauty Fashion Blog

I always bring a lot of face makeup products with me when I go away for the weekend. I feel that as long as my skin looks nice, then I can get away with minimal eye and lip makeup! For base products I like to use my Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm and the Benefit Porefessional. Both of these products prime the skin ready for you to apply your foundation and concealer and I find they both work really well together! The Urban Decay beauty balm also gives my skin a little oomph of colour and glow and helps my foundation blend into my skin colour a lot better.

For my foundation, I'm still in love with the good old Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. I absolutely love the coverage, consistency and finish of this foundation - for me it's an all time favourite! I'm sure you're all bored of seeing this foundation on my blog, but I feel that if I've found something that works for me, why should I change it for something else? The same is said for my concealer too! I love the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as it always managed to cover up any redness, blemishes and dark circles. Once buffed into my skin with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush from the Core Collection, these two products create a natural yet flawless looking base!

The final face products I keep in my makeup bag are blushers. On my skin tone, the Benefit Coralista blush works as both a blusher and a slight bronzing powder. It has a warm tone to it that helps gives my cheeks a glow that some people try to achieve with a bronzer. I apply this blusher with my Real Techniques Blush Brush and I find it blends the product into my skin beautifully! The other blusher I've been try is the Topshop Cream Blush in Prime Time. I would use this blush for when I need to create a more "done up" look as it is a very bright pink shade. This looks gorgeous on the apples of my cheeks and gives my skin a nice rosy tint that I like in the Winter time.

For my eyes, I always keep my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette in my makeup bag. It contains 6 different shades that can create all kind of natural looks. I love applying Walk Of Shame as a base shade, Naked 2 as a lid shade and Faint in my crease. This creates a natural brown smokey eye that can be done lightly for the day or, if you use more of the Faint shade, can be brought into the evening. I use the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush and Deluxe Crease Brush when ever I apply these shadows, the only two brushes you need to create a quick eye look!

I've also been pairing this look with the Soap & Glory Smoudler Kohl in Cocoa Bean as both my upper lash line and my tight line liner. It has a water proof formula that is smooth to apply and lasts all day. Finally I keep this mini Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara in my makeup bag as it's small, compact and gives my lashes a lot of volume and length.

Finally, the only lip product I've been keeping in my makeup bag recently is the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist. This lip crayon is amazing! It has a really smooth formula that tastes amazing! The shade Nudist is a pretty nude pink that works really well as a day time lip colour. I can't wait to pick up more of these gloss sticks too add to my collection - I think they may be as good as the Bourjois crayons!

I hope you enjoyed this post and that you've found some new makeup products to try out! Do let me know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below and I will talk to you all soon!

My Reflection On 2013

My Reflection On 2013 Belle-amie UK Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Blog

Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely Friday evening and looking forward to your weekend. I'm really excited for my weekend, tomorrow me and my family are going to my local RSPCA centre as we've seen a gorgeous German Shepherd cross dog on their website! We're thinking of getting a little brother for our dog Paddy and we think this one is perfect! Today I thought I would do a post where I talk about how I think my 2013 has gone. I think it's always good to reflect and learn from past experience as they do really help you discover what you want to do next in order to progress your self. For me, I feel that at the age of 19 (soon to be 20 this year) this is the time of my life where I really need to gain some independence and finally sort out my path in life. Pretty deep, yes, but I personally feel that this year will be very different to any other year that I will have faced. I'm going to warn you now and say this could be a long post, so go grab a cuppa and a biscuit before reading!

| Independence |
Firstly, in 2013 I started my final year in my beauty course at college. Whilst many of my friends are enjoying life at university, I am now coming to the end of my education. For me this feels like I'm coming to the end of an era where I won't have something to "fall back on to". Education is such a great thing; it gives you a set routine for at least 14 years of your life. You have teachers and people that are always there to help and give advice. You have that sense of security of "if you do something wrong today, there's always the chance of fixing it tomorrow". I'm slightly dreading leaving my college this year as I've always loved that security you get from your education, plus it's a good chance to see your friends! Knowing that I will be finishing my course this year is driving me to becoming a much more independent and confident person.

So from this, I'm setting my self new goals that will help me become the person that I want to be. One of the first ones is to hopefully set up my own mobile beauty business in which I can use all of the new skills I've learnt in my course. I feel that having my own little business will give me so much more independence as all of the decisions and work will be down to me. It will also be really rewarding if I can reach this goal in 2014 as I will be going into a field of work that I have a lot of passion for and I know that I will enjoy it!

Along side this to help boost my independence even more, I'm also planning to start my driving lessons and also (fingers crossed) get my driving license this year. I have been putting this off for way too long, mainly due to this horrible anxiety about actually getting into a car and controlling it. I know that it may seem so silly to some people but the idea of driving terrifies me! This is definitely something I'm going to have to work on this year and I know that once I have achieved this, I will feel so good about myself! Plus passing my driving test will go hand-in-hand with starting my mobile beauty business, so this is definitely something I need to do!

| Confidence |
Towards the end of 2013, after lots of hunting around, I finally found the perfect job for me. When I got this job it gave me such a confidence boost as it proved to myself that I can achieve something when I put my mind to it. Over the past few months that confidence has grown and not only does it apply for when I'm at work, it's also spread into other areas of my life. Simple things such as speaking up in class or talking to new people were hard for me as I'm naturally a shy person. Being shy is not a fun trait to have as many other people just assume you're being rude or just don't want to bother, but it's actually the complete opposite. No matter how hard you try, you can't pluck up the confidence to do what you want to do, even if it is just answering a silly question in front of your class mates.

However, in 2013 I managed to find this confidence boost and this is something I'm really going to treasure from getting my job. Over 2014 I'm hoping that this confidence will grow and that it will allow me to do these difficult tasks that I want to set myself this year. I'm really hoping that this new confidence will help me find the courage to start driving and even push me into starting my little business.

| Blogging |
Of course, as this is my blog I thought I should talk about how blogging has affected my life over 2013. Tomorrow it will have been 19 months from when I made my corner of the internet and I for one am really proud of how it's turned out. 2013 was a big year for my blog as it was the time when it most developed. My writing skill became a lot more confident and I feel that my creativity with photography has also improved. I was also able to work with lots of brands and have exciting opportunities with them which is something I'm really grateful for experiencing. Plus over the past year so many of you have joined me on my little journey and read my posts as I've gone along, so thank you for that!

For 2014, my main focus is actually starting to meet as many of you lovely bloggers as I can! As many meets ups and events are usually in London, this will mean being confident enough to travel on my own - something that's quite a big deal for me! I also want to improve my blog as a whole. Blogging is such an enjoyable hobby and I'm really looking forward to investing more time and effort into Belle-amie!

I'm sorry that this has turned into such a long post and I applaud you if you made it to the end! Thank you so much for reading today's post. I would love to hear what changes you want to make for 2014, anything from resolutions to life changing experiences you want to act on to make 2014 a really good year. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below or tweet me @beautybelleamie.

Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely week. So as it has come to the end of December, and 2013 for that matter, I thought that I would share what products I have been enjoying throughout the last month of the year. To be honest, I hadn't tried many new products in this month as I was completely focused on buying for other people that I kind of forgot to pick up some new beauty products to try! I do think that my January favourite's will definitely be a bigger and better post for you all to read as even after just 1 week I'm already loving so many new things.
But saying all that, there have been quite a few products from December that I've been loving so I'll get straight into talking about them!

ESPA Optimal Skin ProSerum | LINK | Review
I feel like I never include any skin care products in my favourites post, but there has been a new addition to my routine that I have been loving. After trying and reviewing a sample of the ESPA Optimal Skin ProSerum, I was lucky enough to win a full size bottle! For over a month now I have been using this serum religiously every night before bed and I've noticed my skin is looking so much better than it used to. As it's packed with vitamins, anti-oxidants and other essential oils, this luxurious oil helps leave your skin looking and feeling amazing! If you're in the market for a high end skin care product that will improve the overall appearance of your skin, then I would highly recommend this.

Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Glosses | LINK
In December, I was lucky enough to have a Benefit Countdown To Love advent calendar to open and share with my little sister. Over the month I accumulated a mini collection of the Ultra Plush lip glosses and ever since then these were pretty much the only lip products I used in December! I did actually feature the Coralista shade in my last favourites post so my new 2 favourites are Dandelion and Sugarbomb. Dandelion is a beautiful light shimmery pink and Sugarbomb is a more brown toned shimmery pink. I never thought I would love a range of lip glosses so much, especially as I've been exposed to some really horrible formulas, but the Benefit Ultra Plush's are seriously amazing!

Benefit Coralista Blusher | LINK
So like I said, as I did have a Benefit calendar in December I have found some new products that I've fallen in love with! My next favourite of December is the Coralista blusher which (like many beauty products) has been on my wish list for ages. This is a beautiful light shimmery coral blusher that helps add colour, warmth and a healthy glow to my cheeks. For me, this is an amazing 3 in 1 cheek product that I've been wearing both during the day and in the evening - I think it's such a versatile shade. I absolutely adore this blush and I can't wait to buy the full size of it!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer | LINK
This is the last Benefit mini, I swear! Hoola bronzer is such a famous product here in the blogging world and I'm so glad I finally got to try it in December. I've been applying this with my Real Techniques Contour brush and it creates a really natural warmth to my skin. Paired with the Coralista blusher it helps makes my skin really glowy and look healthier! Again I would love to buy the full size of this as I think it's one of the nicest bronzers I have ever tried. It's not orange or pink toned so it looks really natural even on my pale skin.

Soap & Glory Supercat Felt Tip Liquid Liner in "Carbon Black Extreme" | LINK
After reading lots of good things about the Soap & Glory Supercat liquid liner, I thought I would try it out when my Eyeko Skinny Mini liner ran out. At first, I wasn't too sure if I was keen on the Supercat liner as the felt tip was much thicker than I would have liked it to have been. However, after playing around and experimenting with the Supercat I have found that I can achieve a thin, opaque black line on my upper lash line. As well as this I also find it lasts all day long with no smudging or fading. This is a really great eye liner and at just £6, it's amazing value for money too!

Lush Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
My last favourite of December was one of the Christmas edition bubble bars from Lush. Candy Mountain is a really pretty swirly pink and white mountain shape bar that you hold under running water to create bubbles! I believe it has notes of vanilla in it, so once in the bath, it creates lots of bubbles that smell amazing! I actually have a mini stash of Candy Mountain bubble bars as I love it so much. If you're lucky enough to find one of these in the Lush sales, then do grab 1 (well, as many as you can!) as they really do make gorgeous bubble baths.

So these are some of the products that I've been loving in December. I would love to hear what beauty, fashion or even skin care products you've been loving recently so do leave me a comment below! Thank you for reading today's post!

What are your December favourite's?

Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely start to your weekend! Today I'm going to be sharing with you all what I got for Christmas. I love reading these kinds of posts as it's always interesting to see what people received at this time of year, plus they're a great way to discover some new products to try. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail about each present (that would make this post way too long!) but I will pick out a few bits and pieces that I really do love. I am by no means trying to brag about anything that I got, in fact a lot of my readers actually wanted to see this post so I thought I would go ahead and make it! I hope you enjoy this post and do let me know what you got for Christmas!

From my parents, I got quite a few things ranging from new beauty products to try, pyjamas, a gorgeous new bag and lots of smellies! I was really happy to see that I received the Soap & Glory Yule Monty set as I've seen so many posts saying that it is such a lovely kit. It comes with the Sugar Crush body wash that I've been wanting to try for ages plus some new bath/ skin care products that I haven't tried yet. I also received the Sugar Crush trio of body wash, body scrub and body butter, so it's safe to say I'm going to be smelling of limes for quite some time haha!

I also received quite a few makeup bits including the Soap & Glory Girl-O-Whirl set that contains: the Thick & Fast mascara (a staple in my makeup bag), Sexy MotherPucker Glossy Stick in Nudist (a new favourite!) plus 6 eyeshadows, 6 lip colours, a bronzer and facial powder. This is a great little kit that I know I'm going to get tonnes of use out of! I also got the Benefit Double The Bad which contains the Bad Gal Lash mascara and Water Proof liner. These are both amazing products and I'm particularly impressed with the eye liner as it really does stay all day, even in the water line!

On my mum's side of the family we do Secret Santa every year as it saves us having to buy presents for everyone, plus it's lots of fun! From my Secret Santa I received the Quick Fix facial mask for sensitive skin and some Lush goodies - a lovely pamper kit! I've already tried the facial mask and I have to say I'm really impressed! It helped reduce the redness on my cheeks plus it calmed down any blemishes that I had. This is a great product and I highly recommend you trying this out, especially as there is a face mask for every skin type!

Finally, this Christmas my boyfriend really did spoil me! He bought me the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers which is something I've wanted to try for ages! I've used them a few times since Christmas and I find they produce really natural looking curls that stay in place all day. Admittedly I do need to have a bit of practice with them so that I can find a way to produce lots of volume as well! He also bought me a really lovely reindeer Pandora charm for my bracelet which I think is beautiful! I absolutely love deers/ fawns at the moment so this is such a special charm to put on my bracelet. Finally he also bought me a new bottle of the Hugo Boss Orange perfume as I was running low on my old one. This is such a lovely fragrance that's perfect for the Spring time so I can't wait to start using it again.

As well as all of these lovely presents, I did also receive lots of chocolates, sweets and so many socks and slippers - people must know I get cold feet haha! I absolutely love all of the presents that I received this Christmas and I'm so grateful for everything. If there are any products here that you would like to see a full review on then do let me know in the comments! Thank you for reading this post and I'll talk to you all very soon.

What did Santa bring you this Christmas?
